I imagine this getting more popular by getting it done at universities too. If you do it from X to X months, rotating universities. Then doing this every year to gather even a bigger crowd... It could get popular.

Specially if you find some team or famous players/streamers to sponsor this.

We are already in touch with a number of major teams.
Doing this in the model suggested by you would require a lot more resources.
Maybe, some time when we have our E-sports venture running at scale :)

How are you planning to promote/market this beyond the members of the bitshare community?

awesome question, the key marketing platforms we are using are:

Reddit
Twitch
Gaming forums

Via sharebits:
Twitter
Facebook
Instagram

we have a detailed marketing plan laid out which we are more than happy to share, we are working closely with @eagleeye in this regard,
perhaps he and @Freebieservers can shed more light.

Very cool. Looking forward to it :D

What games are you considering?

How are you planning to promote/market this beyond the members of the bitshare community?

This is a great demographic to go after.   You guys have done a very good job so far developing Sharebits so look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.  We're looking for products/services for people to buy with bitCash so I'll PM you about collaboration.  Thanks.

Hey fuzzy, here are the results of your tips...
