Do I have to backup privkey before rebuild bts? Which file?

not required if not clean build, but better to backup the wallet ,the wallet file is /bitshares/bts_wallet/release/datadir/wallet.bts

Today I made no progress on BitShares X development, but our website has seen some more major updates.

This is what I thought but was not sure. Thank you for clearing that out. I might join BTS alfa testing.

Sorry if this question is already answered somewhere in the forum but I just cant seem to find it. How do I actually get the BitShares client  and how do I point my PTS address so that I can claim my BTS?

Actually, this is alpha test period. If you can compile the bitshares client code from here(https://github.com/InvictusInnovations/BitShares),  you will join the testing.
Put your testing BTS address in this thread and someone will send you some test BTS to play around(not the real BTS unless the official Bitshares Client is released).

I'm a fan of the latest invictus.io update as well! Here's some off the cuff feedback:

  • I like the sunrise image on the home page, the dawn-of-a-new-day message is pretty easy to pick up on.
  • The banner image on the Keyhotee page seems a bit fuzzy, maybe the resolution is a bit low?
  • I am not 100% sold on the Keyhotee logo, simply because it does not look modern when juxtaposed with the BitShares logos (which happen to look fantastic)!

Despite my (very) minor gripes, I gotta say the page is looking much better. You guys are gonna kill it in Miami!

Today I was pulled off of BitShares X development to focus on marketing and preps for Miami.   You can check out my latest updates to invictus.io here:

The network is stalled on a transaction validation error... I will let you know when transfers can resume.

I can only see bids, shorts of myself and no others sell/buy info. Is this right?

Forget about it. I can see the whole market info after using command "market".
