But, how do I import my pts to bts?
the final wallet (once released for the public) will have an option to upload/load your wallet.dat file!

No... there is no real network up. There is a test network where you can claim test XTS.
There are exchanges where you can trade BTSX snapshot if you held your PTS on exchanges.
You cannot claim the real BTSX yet.
Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.

Wait.  We can claim our Bts already?

i think so, if you're using the testnet. but that also puts you at risk of importing into a testing version- best to wait imo

i stand corrected. see below.

Hi, I have a wallet with protoshares in it, whenever I try to copy it to the app/roaming/bitshares directory it crashes the bitshares wallet whenever I try to open it,  How do I convert my protoshares in bitshares?

In order to get BitShares from PTS wallet you should run BitShares client, create account and use command wallet_import_bitcoin with your PTS wallet.
