Till a transaction is written in a block, the balance will reflect in the sending address in the snapshot.

hey all,

thanks to you guys for your help, looks like all it took was (a lotta lotta) patience. it's now 3am i'm home from work and now it's only one hour behind and the transaction has been made and is just waiting for confirmation.

hi testz,

again, thanks for the quick response.

the problem is though that i can't see a transaction id. when i enter the destination wallet address i see a list of a few previous transactions (obviously because i've used the address before), the most recent of which was in september, but this most recent withdrawal from my wallet to this address is not listed.

and yes, through the console window i can see that the most recent block, the one i'm stuck at, is 81561, but it doesn't seem to be able to sync with the network. for hours now it's been syncing, syncing...and no progress. i added a bunch of nodes and still no progress.

any further ideas??

ps @madawc it's a withdrawal of 400.2735 PTS

You should see transaction ID if you click on unconfirmed transaction in your wallet.
If 81561 - your wallet synced with the network, 81561 last block for now, yes it's was more than 5 hours ago, but as I say in previous posts - network work very slooow.
Check if your transaction in the list from my previous post, if yes - you need to wait.

If you see your transaction id in this list, don't worry - you should wait 5-8 hours and hopefully transaction get to block and will be confirmed by the network.

so i checked out the address and the last transaction listed there is from september, today's transaction is nowhere to be seen.

so what does this mean exactly, if they nevertheless have (apparently) left my wallet? do i need to wait for the wallet to sync? and how so i get that to happen exactly??

Yes, you need to wait until wallet sync, check current block in Help-> Debug window, should be 81561 or more.
If your wallet synced and transaction stack, let's us know I will give you instruction how to recover balance and send funds again.

Check your address using block explorer: http://ptsexplorer.cloudapp.net/chain/BitShares-PTS
If it's unchanged probably it's stack at your wallet, if you will see changes look how many confirmation your transaction has.
Check last block of your client, now it's 81561.

Due to lack of miners PTS network works very slooow.
