Welcome Damelon  :D

Dan's article http://bytemaster.bitshares.org/article/2015/01/03/Cooperation-Amoung-Crypto-Projects/ suggests we not burn each other to the ground each time we encounter a perceived slight, and I agree with that. There're bigger fish to fry.

I fully agree  +5%

Hello people,

I am the one who commissioned this chart, mainly because there wasn't anything like it around.

Believe it or not, I have clearly stated that the chart should be correct.

I will also make sure that it wíll get redistributed on twitter wíth corrections.

When the first versions were made, it was very clearly biased towards Nxt (larger logo, Nxt in the middle, facts kept out etc), something which I said I would not pay for as that's not the purpose of it.

Of course, because it's posted from the Nxt Forums and Nxt Twitter accounts, it's quite normal for people to think that it will be Nxt biased. Suspicion in the crypto world is rather wide-spread and in the FUD-rich scene we operate in, it's understandable.

I will take the gratuitous insults in this thread in that light then.

For the rest: judge by actions, please. The changes, once checked, will be made. I would like to ask that when made, you at least grant us that much.

Hope that clears these things up somewhat and I hope you will keep us on our toes with this.

Welcome Damelon and thanks for keeping it honest. I think the chart is a good idea and I quite like the design, that's why I wanted to help correct it on your forum.

I just couldn't resist, registered on their forum and made a LOOONG post to give them some better info..

Great work xeroc and svk! Link to NXT forum thread here.

We will get this fixed in no-time, and then we got NXTers spreading the gospel on how awesome our platform is as well :)

Correction: Network Security Costs... fraction of transaction fees.   Delegate pay does not impact security.

Indeed, corrected.

There's no need to waste time trying to educate the clueless western marketoid fanboys of NXT, NXT is in a death spiral with falling trading volume and market cap ...

Just let the nature take its course ...

IMHO, I found the NXT community to be composed of some shrewd Russian founders/whales plus lots of clueless western fan-boys who put out such propaganda charts

this seem like they are bashing us honestly lol. Just make a new, fair chart and start spreading it on twitter too.

maybe considering to add ethereum also! Just said…  +5%

Do we really know anything about Ethereum for certain?

From their comments in the thread I think they used to have Ethereum in there but removed it due to lack of info.

I'm not sure why Transaction Fee Costs are listed as "variable" on our wiki. For a comparison like this it should just say 0.1BTS, which is the minimum fee for transfers..

Here's why Bitshares is not decentralized according to them:

Dan Larimer describes Bitshares as "a distributed multi-user database" in his blogpost "What is Bitshares?".
http://bytemaster.bitshares.org/update/2014/12/18/What-is-BitShares/

I agree with him, it is too much of a stretch to call it decentralized.
Thanks.

I was doubting about Bitshares as well. Thanks for this confirmation.

Impressive logic that I must say. You should point them to this post instead: http://bytemaster.bitshares.org/article/2015/01/13/Decentralization-of-Nxt-vs-BitShares/

I don't believe we have Cross Chain Trading Support though so that should not be checked.

I complain about it on reddit/r/nxt ..

We'll see if they update it, a bit hilarious how they claim to want to do an honest job of it but somehow most of their information about Bitshares is completely wrong..
