the shirt that Dan wears in this video would even work (that's my favorite version of the logo too btw):

Maybe you could contact someone like arhag or ander who seems to have a great deal of experience in this area and have them as a cohost?

Any chance we can get some BitShares logo-embroidered collared shirts for all future vids? I think if we pool some money for this, we could get Max and any BitShares co-hosts dressed up.

Image is everything when I'm trying to pitch these vids to bankers and wealth mgmt co's.
Peace,
 -ken

Not sure how I earned this reputation.  I have never traded anything.  :)  I like the idea though.... and I think it is inevitable.

Because you're frign awesome Max. :)

I'd like to translate your BitShares 101 HD videos into German:
https://youtu.be/tvrLKYbfzc0?list=PLjgfpSQFJTLpKmTGCG8FjvDFbfst6F-x5

Can you send me (ken@kenCode.de) the Subtitles "captions.vtt" text files for those 5 videos? I'll translate them and then email it back to you for import..

MUCH appreciated Max, thank you :)

I sincerely hope I didn't put Max in a corner here.
@max, you definitely understand the basics of trading and your explanations make it seem like you are a trader, so "Max is frign awesome" actually is pretty apt...soooo you could have fooled me!

The moonstone trading interface will be relatively simple and targeted at average users. However, for V2 and 3 we plan to become more modular and allow third party extensions to any interface part of the wallet. We hope people will pick up the slack and provide higher end trading interfaces for professionals at some point.
Will I be able to load plugins into moonstone?
yes, for v2. We need to figure out the security implications first though.

Why not offer a spot as 100% delegate to the creator of bfxdata.com?

I would support that if it's someone who's committed to BitShares.

I think it is a great idea--especially if Max happens to be a pretty successful trader.  He obviously knows a decent bit about the mechanics of markets, so I guess it would be worth it to ask Max his thoughts.  I'll send him a pm linking to this thread to inform him of the idea.

@fuzzy - Did Max get back with you yet?
I'd like to see Max's show become something like Anarchast. He's in casual dress, a small studio, professional microphone, natural backdrop:
https://youtu.be/75k2pQHaB1g

I PM'd Taulant at Moonstone as well.

If we can pull those two together, we could actually achieve a ThinkOrSwim quality gui, one that would make any wall street trader jealous.

When Wall Street crashes, it should be a natural progression for them to upgrade to BitShares. Think Or Swim.

Think or Swim was hands down the best trading platform I've ever used.  I loved it!

If bitshares could mimic even 2% of what TOS had I'd be ecstatic

Just a simple interactive chart would be a huge improvement.  Currently the chart in the core client is a waste of space, near completely useless.

I know the Devs have other things to worry about right now, but I just wanna toss this idea out there now so that by keeping this feature in mind, the code will be scalable for customizability features like this in a future version:

ok so, I was reading the Nasdaq X-Stream Trading flyer this morning (http://www.nasdaqomx.com/digitalAssets/82/82651_x-streamtrading.pdf) and it gave me another idea. :o

Remember the ThinkOrSwim (TOS) software?
https://www.tdameritrade.com/retail-en_us/resources/images/tools-and-platforms/pm-thinkorswim-features.png

Have you seen how Cryptrader allows you to drag and drop Markets (and boxes for news, tweets, net worth, etc) where you want them?
http://edigitalstudios.com/sites/default/files/slide3-layer1-cryptrader-tablet.png

Have you seen the charting/tools/chat features of TradingView?
http://blog.forex4you.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Trading_view2.png

I use the CCC site to show me my net worth:
http://www.cryptocurrencychart.com

I use CMC to quickly check caps, prices, charts:
http://coinmarketcap.com

TOS was awesome. It had everything I needed on one, customizable screen, and it was scalable for my tablet (not so much for my smartphone tho).

Anyhooz, once the mobile wallets start coming out, they will need to recreate the same screens that the BTS Wallet uses over and over which would be a waste of Devs time. App consistency will be needed for mass adoption, tech support for users, etc.

Gui customizability, standardized color coding for specific menus etc, the ability to (CDN?) load json language packs for field labels, column headers etc in realtime (ie: http://kenCode.de), the ability to add a BitShares TV widget and flip thru the playlist, see where I'm going with this? If my mom is gonna start using BitShares, I need to be able to walk her thru her wallet, over a landline phone, no matter which app she is using (moonstone, bts web wallet, a new mobile wallet, whatever).
