Yes we met him at 2 Bitcoin conferences actually.
He can see where the industry is going. I don't think he's invested in any company doing this type of thing though.
I think PeerTracks is still the only one out there.
There's bittunes and a bunch of "tip artists in BTC" projects, but nothing like what we are doing. Not yet at least.

In this video he talked about how blockchain technoloy will 'disrupt Hollywood'. For example:
~7:11 He predicted there will be `artist coins`
~8:30 he predicted there will be digital media platforms by 'blockchain companies'. And he also metiontioned bitshares.

Besides, I noticed that the 'TEDxHollywood' event would be a very good chance for PeerTracks to broadcast your ideals. In its official site:
