Watch your address in the blockchain explorer.

Did you any donation / fee for the operator?
Please recheck you actually sent the coins to your wallet.

Coinplorer shows 0.9 PTS received to that address (https://coinplorer.com/PTS/Addresses/PkSx1BZbfDECc5qFgU5Ykht8EuxQZgLYK8).  Have you tried closing the Qt client and restarting it?  I've had it stop receiving new blocks without showing out of sync a number of times, and restarting it always works for me.

You can also open the debug window and look at the timestamp of the last received block to confirm if this is the issue.

wallet balance = zero?

Protoshares has been tragically frustrating for me, but I spare you all of that.

Today's issue is that I sent 1 protoshare to my protoshare-qt wallet from my exchange wallet as a tes to make sure it works.

But the balance is zero and the blockchain is synced and the transaction was sent an hour ago.

Here are the steps I followed.

In the debug console window I typed
listreceivedbyaddress 0 true

to get an address to send to.

This address was the output
PkSx1BZbfDECc5qFgU5Ykht8EuxQZgLYK8

Then I went to Bter.com and sent 1 pts to that address.

But the balance appearing in the qt client shows zero after 1 hour.

Any thoughts?
