Sorry if this is a stupid question since I'm a very basic programmer (if you could even call me that). Since the BitShares client uses JavaScript, couldn't we use the APIs that Coinigy uses from the exchanges and do the same in BitShares? Coinigy runs on the cloud, but could run on BitShares, making it safer and decentralizing it a bit more? Thing I don't know is how that stuff would interact with BitShares' Blockchain so this may just be a stupid thought, however I felt i needed to ask.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm pleased to say we are currently working with CCEDK on integration. You should see charting, trade history and realtime orderbook for CCEDK by week's end.

CCEDK charting and data are now available on Coinigy.  We are discussing with them the possibility of doing balance tracking and order management.  If this is something you'd like to see added, I'd encourage you to reach out to them and ask them about adding it.

Getting CCEDK running in their UI will bring you and BitShares a LOT more exposure.
