Great test, some witnesses went off on a temporary fork, but after the flooding was over they recovered automatically.

Fox, you probably would have been OK had you let it auto-resolve.

The challenge we had was that during the flood syncing of new nodes (or forked nodes) was impaired.

See that ! in there, that leads me to believe the account is NOT (!) a lifetime member. The cmd did produce an exception. If it meant it was ALREADY a lifetime member the message is fucked. Just one more to add to the list I guess!

If you can create witness, you are already a lifetime member.

I've not checked the genesis file, but suspect your IsLifetimeMember flag was set to TRUE for this go.
