During the past 6 months, one of my priorities has been to structure and lead a robust and secure Cryptographic-Asset Exchange Platform for professional high frequency traders with REST API, yet simple enough for beginners. Since launch, BitGo has been hosting our wallet, allowing us to offer the additional security of insurance to our clients in the unlikely event of a catastrophic failure. So far, it has been a valuable experience, having managed to attract and build a solid relationship with users across LATAM. We narrowed down our exchange listing to (COP/BTC) and (PEACE2018), the later being a prediction market contract, for speculating on the final outcome of the Colombian Peace Treaty.

BitShares 2.0 Referral Program

IMO, one of the if not the biggest challenge entrepreneurs face when creating a new exchange, is attracting liquidity. With the launch of Graphene based blockchains, this will no longer be an issue. Exchanges are now able to bootstrap their order books, like a drop of rain that falls on the face of the ocean, and becomes the ocean itself. MERKABAHNK, the parent company of CriptoBanco, will lead along with all members of the OpenLedger Network, accentuating this emerging paradigm shift in business management. At each level of complexity, there is greater potential for new organization and change. Every other exchange out there willing to survive and thrive will have to follow and upgrade their engines, the story of evolution unfolds with increasing levels of abstraction.
 
We halted all trading operations at CriptoBanco during the time of the BitShares 2.0 snapshot. We will deploy our strategy, and start referring our users once the referral program is properly tested.

Interesting project. I like your website. You used the graphics of BitShares very well. Will you build a Fiat-On ramp for Latin america?

Due to other endevours, MERKABAHNK has a well established partnership with a local payment gateway in Colombia, which enables us to receive payments from users both online and offline. The online method allows payment from any Colombian issued debit card. If the user prefers to use the offline method,  the physical locations they can go to for purchasing BitCOP, are abundant, and well spread across the country. These include: major retail stores, lotto booths, banks and money transfers.
We are driven to provide a smooth experience to our clients, and being able to add CCEDK ramps is game changing for us!

Hi @delulo thanks a lot! That is correct, and others are lined up in our list! Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come, I have been waiting years for something like Graphene. I remember MERKABAHNK, issuing its first version of a UIA (TQB) back in 2012 to fund Soluciones Verdes, a Social Entrepreneurship that tackles extreme poverty in rural areas of Colombia. We publicly time-stamped each market transaction using the feeds on twitter and facebook. We got funded at the time using what we had,  now we have this OS where we can migrate these shares, and give birth to its market. We have at our fingertips the most powerful toolkit, that if supported with a complete documentation, we can take our businesses to the next level, and continue to innovate. I will be posting about them when the time comes, one step at a time.
