how to take back my vote power from proxy?

If you are using web wallet, try a refresh.  If using light client you may need  the latest version.  I'm not sure if the latest light client has this fix yet though.

using the desktop light client in windows 10

Update:  IT WORKS! -- thanks to everyone who helped --- I uninstalled the old client, and installed  BitShares-light_2.0.151105.exe!

light wallet has to be updated with proxy removal... guess they will do it soon.

works on bitshares.openledger.info if you want to import your wallet there.
