Maybe you need to upgrade your bitshares 2.0-light to newest version though.

That was the ticket. All good. Thanks.

I created UIA and way wandering if there's a way to increase the maximum supply?
There is a "update asset" button on your account's "assets" page

I don't find an "update asset" button on my account's "assets" page.  I'm using BitShares 2.0-light and never ran any updates. That could be my problem.
It only appears if at least one asset was created by that account.
You need to wait for a while until the asset shows up, it's a bit laggy, 10 seconds for me when loading it at the first time.
Maybe you need to upgrade your bitshares 2.0-light to newest version though.

no increase of maximum supply

//edit: wait, .. i think you can change it .. I will test this
//edit2: except for name and precision, it seems that everything of the asset can be changed!! Updating docs today

Hey, I am curious about what happen once one create a UIA within OpenLedger.
I see that it would cost me about 5000BTS. But once the UIA is created, is it suppose to show up directly in my wallet?
If not, how do I claim them?

Yes, it will show up in your wallet under the account which created it.

...and if it doesn't? (I went ahead and it's not there)

What did you do - the steps?  Did you encounter any problem along the way? Error messages?  Was the asset creation fee deducted from your account?

Somehow it appeared...like 1 hours or so later. hmmmm. Thank anyway!
Now I've got to figure out how to do ShareBits

The blockchain should be quite instant.  It may be because of slow internet speed which affects the web wallet.  I am glad your asset is up and running.  :)
