I think we should focus on the marketing of businesses that are built on top:

1. OpenLedger
2. Sharebit.io
etc.

This way we can get more users and we don't have to deal with the brand expectation people had with bitshares and focus on the benefit of each products that related to specific markets.

As we all know the mass media still have the power on shaping the public opinon on any subject. They have been trying hard to attract attention to blockchain rather than bitcoin, they are a kind of   makers of the truth . I think we as community should piggyback their efforts to benefit from their power and turn the table around.
What ever terminology they are using we should use exactly the same terminologies . This way we can attract a portion of the attention they create on public.
