everyone is 'free' to assume whatever they have programmed their subconscious mind on the course of their life to tell them. I do not mind seeing general cautions on my thread, and I will ignore any arbitrary judgments. Your mind sees, what it wants to see.

Personally, my epigenetic has been completely altered by the financial innovations taking place within our community. I am creating, investing and leveraging these tools to complement and fuel my parallel crypto endeavors. My record speaks for me, please check (Accounts created, Lifetime fees paid, etc) Make your own risk evaluations, if you see more opportunity than risk, than you are worthy of our contract.

As of the specifics of this investment, your capital is fully collateralized by cash, meaning that in the worst case scenario where we as a fund fail to do our business, we have a time frame to convert our cash to BTS, and purchase the asset back from our latest investors.

Why are you casting aspersions on him specifically (I'm worried this guy) rather than a general caution about the risks of this kind of loan?

 :)

How active has dichalcog3nid3 been in those two years?

His last venture was encouraging proxy trade, which could easily be gamed with the 'prediction scam' https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,19849.msg254903.html#msg254903

He's now asked for multiple small loans with attractive interest in quick succession, which could be an example of the 'reputation scam'

BARRAS-001
CONTRACT SOLD + TERMINATED

Contract for 38,094.862 BTS
It will be done at a rate that includes a 3% gain
Maturity   4d

BARRAS-002
Contract for 42,300 BTS
ON THE OPEN MARKET
a rate that includes a 7.685% gain
Maturity    11d

Quote
This is a classic example of why "reputation loans" are usually a scam.
Take a look at the Rep. building loans. Small amounts with unusually high interest rates and quick repay times.

The user then progresses to larger amounts and almost always asks for multiple loans at the same time or in a close time frame. The terms have increased to much longer pay back times and interest rates to hook you in. Hey, he paid the others back didn't he so these must be a certain money maker.
Always protect yourself and your coins from these predators. Use escrow when possible and if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confidence_trick

Quote
A confidence trick (synonyms include confidence game, confidence scheme, scam and stratagem) is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their confidence,

So in this scenario you would expect the first few to be paid back but watch the loan sizes and maturity dates get bigger over time.

The user may well be genuine but historically it is best to exercise extreme caution.

Done.  (kinda.  I can't get the last 0.00001 barras order to fill.)

I have placed the barras at 3% higher than I purchased them at which is 82.69458.

Don't Clinton me bro.
