If you are using bitshares you are certainly not "blind" anymore :)

One should be considered 'legally blind' if he uses BTS.
(kind of a good deal in US, especially if you are not technically blind)
Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

I'd like to see the blind helped but it seems like a horrible allocation of resources at this point.  And once you start advertising it, you better start supporting it moving forward...

just come to my mind,,

Can BitShares solve this problem ? and win economical freedom for blind people.

Accessibility for the blind would be great. It seems it got some attention a few years ago with bitcoin: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-needs-accessible-visually-impaired/

The blind rely largely on screen readers.. luckily.. React.js has markup to support this:

https://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/accessibility.html

@svk has this been used or could be incorporated into our web-wallet code to give us accessibility status?

This could be a nice little niche that we could market too.

According to WHO, there are 285 million people worldwide who, due to some disability (i.e. they are suffering with low vision), cannot read all content on a website. 39 million of those people are blind and cannot access any of the content via sight.

 +5% of that? Yes please.
