Thanks for the info.

It seems that enki is a bit slower? One opportunity today:

Targeted on same order, ar8173r acted first with all operations in one transaction.

By the way, looks like enki is also monitoring markets of other exchanges, in contrast ar8173r is monitoring BitShares only.
:)
ar8173r doesn't win every time but yeah, enki is likely a little slower.  waiting on outside exchanges is a factor.

I think ar8173r is a little more advanced though since he's often doing trades across 5 - 7  different pairs for 1 arb trade.  I think enki might need an upgrade, he maxs out at 3

It's entertaining at least.

There are a few bots that do exactly this.

ar8173r is quite advanced though.  I've seen it span across as many as 7 different markets.  Pretty cool.
Correct. Anyway it consumes market depth. Our market makers need to be more clever.

I'm not of the opinion that consuming depth is a bad thing.

It's a good thing.  It only consumes depth when it matches orders; when orders are below or above what can be had in other markets.  People want to trade where their orders will be filled, not just left on the book for the sake of having depth.  Arb bots make this happen.

If the arb trades are only filling Market Makers standing orders then the MM's are not pricing correctly or not adjusting fast enough.

Assuming all MM are priced correctly, it only takes 1 real users order in a long string of orders to trigger this long arb.  And that is exactly what the MM's are there for.  Working with the Arb bots it makes every market more liquid.

Auto-Routing
Graphene matching the orders has been talked about a few times elsewhere

There was another thread but I can't find it.

//Update:
It's best if the Graphene market engine match orders among all markets automatically @bytemaster @theoretical .

Looks like some kind of front-running bot, at least an arbitrary bot. Very clever.

Say there are 3 assets: A,B,C, so 3 trading pairs A:B, B:C, C:A. When someone pumps in A:B and left an order there, the bot checks if there is arbitrary opportunity if fill the order in A:B and pump in B:C and C:A at same time.

For example, in this block http://cryptofresh.com/tx/56f4d10d26bcbb977770ad97d61e61673ec3f596, it earned 1.3 METAFEES.
