I've been following NEM. Not as much as BitShares but it seems that they have indeed some cool features and a decent plateform.

Absolutely crazy. NEM over 100M, probably about as crazy as Bitshares over 100M was. :P

Not sure if this news about partnerships in Malaysia and Japan are legit something to get stoked on, or just pump fodder.

How many times has Bitcoin been associated with Walmart/Big Banks/whatever and it turned out to be just an excuse to pump?

my 40 bucks is now 280. really debating taking some profit.

NEM is a clone/fork of Nxt that introduced itself to bitcointalk Jan 2014. some "fin tech" company realized NEM is the solution to remittence payments? I doubt.

A lot of shitcoins had occational price pumps with no reason, also I wouldn't be surprised if the forums will be full of "good news" about nem in a few days, trying to convince the "wise investors" to buy this pumped coin. You know... buy high sell low...

A few seconds quick glance at their forum didn't show anything intresting.

this could be IMO a huge deal ...

Yeah, XEM token seems to go through usual pump&dump cycle.

Btw I did not want to imply that NEM was a $#!% coin, I was trying to say that less valuable coins had similar and perhaps greater pumps in the past, I see NEM neutraly.

NEM does not look like a shitcoin. It is looks like similar concept to bitshares, implemented different way. Bitshares devs better watch it close.

Anyone know why NEM is skyrocketing? What advantages does it have over Bitshares?
