The pool is occasionally reports slower HPM speeds for me.
I am losing 20-40% of my hashing power to this inefficiency.
My payouts are not affected but it is unlikely that I will continue to stay at this pool if the pool cannot process my shares while other powerful miners transfer over to this pool.
You do not lose any % of your power! The server stats only displays the rough approximate speed on the main page. But your payouts are calculated on the real sent shares.
Please, see it at your example. You get about 90hpm, that is ca.100 coins a day according to the calculator.
You mined incomplete 3 days, according to the calculator that makes 250 coins as a solo-miner, minus 2%fee =245coins. This compares with your payout 247MMC.
By the way, the DwarfPool is the most transparent pool, there is the most detailed and open statistic, no stealing shares and no hidden fees!
No matter what pool is, the miner's get the same mined coins. On the large pool you get often but less, on the small one rarely but more.
Profit depends on the pool fee, for instance, the middle-"big" miner(5khpm) could save around 500$/month by dwarfpool due to difference fees.
>if the pool cannot process my shares
The pool processes all your shares! Some shares are rejected on every pool, this it through an old getwork protocol used by pools.
I started the pool because of my sympathy to algorithm of memorycoin.
but the danger of extinction of coin is big because of too high concentration of the network hashrate on the one pool. if the system is compromised, there is not much faith in a coin and no big interest on buying it. This also can be one of the reasons why memorycoin is not accepted on the stock exchanges. At the moment the price falls, as well as difficulty of mining, minus 30% for 2 weeks means leakage on miners..
The same happened to bitcoin when ghashio almost closed to 51%, the pool cut down its power for itself.
