If bitshares would support oracles who provide price feeds for UIA, making bot in the default GUI would be possible I believe.

You'd have to provide your own price feeds but maybe it would be possible yeah.
I run the @bitshares twitter handle

Hm, I don't get why this would need a centralized server?
Have you checked the usual bitcoin trading bots? I think many of them are running only locally and connect to exchanges directly.

Thx, but I am talking about a Light Wallet integrated bot.

I have been thinking about this myself,  could just be an extra tab on a custom GUI but as Svk says it would be on a centralised server.

could be done I'm sure but not for the default GUI

@JonnyBitcoin does a video tutorial of btsbots. A third party software, but created by trusted community member alt

It is not a secret that bots are required to provide increasing liquidity on the dex.
I believe it would be a huge benefit if the average joe would be able to use a bot through the main GUI.

I for example do not trade actively on the DEX, just because I am not a daytrader and it costs too much time to hunt for profit. But I have some money that I could use to provide liquidity if there was an easy way to program a bot through the GUI.

I do not trust external bots and do not want to rely on them.
If the GUI must be active in order to run the bot would be no problem for me.

What would be needed to get this feature integrated in the GUI?
Thoughts...
