1) Go to paperwallet.bitshares.eu
2) Provide your account name
3) Provide a **NEW** random password (twice)
4) Copy/Paste all the keys (EXCEPT for the owner, you don't need to replace your owner key - yours is still working)
5) Print the whole page (there is a specific button to also print the plain password
With all the keys (the public keys are the important ones - they start with BTS....) you can go in the wallet and replace yours.
6) open your preferred wallet
7) if you not already have imported your owner key - create a new empty "WALLET"
8) import your owner key in settings -> import -> dropdown: private key (wif)
9) after import, the wallet should identify your account automatically and you should see it when you click "Account" in the top nav bar
10) go to your permissions page -> active key
11) add your new public key (take the one from the ACTIVE row on the paperwallet) .. give it as much weight as the THRESHOLD says on the top (should be 1)
12) go the MEMO .. replace memo key with yours (from paperwallet)
13) PUBLISH CHANGES

if the last step fails, you may need to flip the "sign as owner" switch.
now you will be able to log in with your new and your old active keys. (owner key isn't changed)

you cannot generate the active/memo key "from" the owner key, but you can replace/add new keys to your account if you have the owner key.
You can take a look at the paperwallet.bitshares.eu to derive new keys

All i have is the owner keys. So considering the Owner Keys are the master keys that have overall control over all the keys, what is the laments way of generating the active keys without having super technical knowledge. I tried sending directly to the owner key but the address comes up invalid. I tried looking for it but there wasnt one clear way of doing it.
