can't broadcast the transaction

Am a newbie here myself, had the same problem on numerous occasions. I'm on MacOS Sierra, I fixed this problem by either:

• Restarting the client software, or
• Switching to a different network connection, to some Wifi service provider, bypassing my own LAN routers, etc.

when I try to place an order with the online wallet

what does it mean ? the nodes are overflooded due to the recent spike in transaction ? or is bitshares.org overwhelmed ? openledger. io doesn't work either

I'm just trying to understand how it (doesn't) work
