I think it'd be quite cool to create python workbooks using Google's CoLab: http://colab.research.google.com/

For teaching students how to use the python-bitshares library against testnet.

The Blockchain Academy aims at familiarizing students and professors with the possibilities of the BitShares Blockchain. Thereby, the underlying rationale is to market the BitShares platform to a well-
educated public. With this post we want to update the community about the proceedings.

We are very pleased to present our achievements so far. Besides working on expanding the educational materials we were also able to realize some of the set milestones in the worker proposal.
The first milestone has already been completed. We have translated the blockchainacademy.nl website from Dutch to English and German. As soon as the worker proposal is voted approved,  we will also deliver
a Chinese version.

Several universities  have been approached and the first contacts are established to get them to consider to sign up for the education program of Blockchain Academy or get into the test net promotion. Among them are NHL Stenden, Radboud University, University Of Rotterdam, Delft University, Minor FinTech and Blockchain of Saxion University of Applied Sciences (locations Enschede and Deventer). The latter has
already  agreed  on using the BitShares test net for educational purposes on Blockchain. To generate traffic to the Blockchain Academy website from relevant Dutch students and teachers we are currently testing text adds on LinkedIn. We will roll this out to approximately 30 Dutch Business Administration and/or Information and Communications Technology University faculties in coming months. We have to see if this way is the right way in reaching our target group and if not adjust our strategy on the way.

On December 12 th   2017, Blockchain Academy provided a training for 25 employees (among them were also some working students) from the educational institute of the Rabobank. The participants were very
enthusiastic about the BitShares testnet. After the workshop, the participants had obtained knowledge about the possibilities of blockchain as well as learned the ease with which one can create an account or
create and trade User-Issued Assets at the BitShares exchange.

We are very keen on reaching out to more universities, providing more workshops, and above all inform more people about the great features and possibilities of BitShares! Over the last 7 weeks  8 students
made a preliminary study of Blockchain possibilities at Saxion University of Applied science. Some of these will continue the next 20 weeks to  in casework  on Blockchain related use. All focused on BitShares as
backbone for solutions.

We're looking forward to your comments / questions etc. if any.
