Introducing Rstory
« on: January 13, 2019, 09:03:27 pm »
Hello everyone.

I am the BitShares community representative for Rstory. What is Rstory? More posts will follow in the coming days with a more in-depth look at Rstory and its implementation. This is the initial post from the CEO, Mr. Bailey.

Quote
Greetings people and bots,

Rstory is a revolutionary new form of cryptocurrency. It consists of the financially worthless tokenized corporate gratitude of an information services company called Insight Green, LLC. This financially worthless corporate gratitude token has novel properties that allow it to be used to store social capital which can be translated by market procedures into financial value. In 2019, Rstory will operate on the STEEM, Waves, and Bitshares blockchains. Please note that Rstory is not a financial investment, and was specifically designed to be unattractive to investors. The market price of this token can and will be reduced to something approaching zero from time to time.

As the CEO of Insight Green, LLC, I am very excited about Rstory, and am thrilled that our team has finally gotten all of this project's essential components ready for action. Between now and the end of January, we will be rolling these components out for you to explore, question, lambast, play around with, and so forth. But for now, this post in combination with the Rstory 'whitepaper' (https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@insightgreen/rstory-white-paper) will hopefully be sufficient to attract some interest.

Be well,
Mr. Bailey

For the curious, the token is RUSTY. It was created by the account insight-green

Interesting. :-)

RUSTY is only one of the tokens. Read the company statement.

RUSTY is only one of the tokens. Read the company statement.

You are partially correct. When initially transferred to custodians, they are in their ‘tude’ state. When used in a marketplace, they are then in their ‘rusty’ state.

This is seen in action in the Token Supply post (https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@insightgreen/rstory-official-launch-token-supply-distribution-allocation-etc) and finding the comment where Mr. Bailey changes the state from ‘tude’ to ‘rusty’.

Here is an excerpt from that post:

Quote
While any entity that receives tudes from an Insight Green, LLC conferral of gratitude procedure is of course free to use said tudes in any manner, any act that constitutes entering Rstory tokens into a price discovery procedure transforms said tokens, such that they consequently cease occupying state=tude, and begin occupying state=rusty. And if even one state=rusty token is transferred into a wallet containing only tudes, this wallet must be a.) considered to be comprised wholly of rustys, or b.) audited by as-yet-undeveloped procedures to determine with 100% certainty that all Rstory tokens in said wallet have crystal clear chains-of-custody from their points of origin until the present time. This means, for example, that placing a bitshares dex sell order with tudes transforms said tudes into rustys, and canceling such a sell order before all tokens are sold may result in transforming all of a wallet's tudes into (possible) rustys.
