Age - 36
Height - 183 centimeters
Weight - 93 kilo
Fat - 27 %
Kidney - CKD-EPI 108 micro-kat per liter
Liver - ASAT 0.3 micro-kat per liter
Heart - CK 2

Today I woke up and ate rice. Then I smoked cannabis with tobacco. I try to stop tobacco by only smoking/vaping weed pure.

Then I ate 100 gram chocolate. Normally I would eat meat, sweets and so on. Hm! Pizza delivery every day for example, but I am mostly broke because I cannot handle money so good (stoned, no future mentality, ghetto).

Every 2 days I make sport. Since 2 weeks. Before 20 years nothing. I bought protein and creatin. My goal is to become a beach boy in 4 years and rent a house. No Chain No Gain!

I walk a lot because I don't have a car or bike.

My job is real life delegate. I walk around and make a funny show and offer financial advice, jokes, future telling. My financial advice is since Dec. 2013 BitShares. One joke is:

Why do Germans need two Viagra? Because with one only the arm goes up! well...haha

I eat often spinache. 450 grams per day. Deep freeze pizza, spinache, meat, rice, chocolate, oeatmeal for breakfast.

Who would process the paperwork (doctors health statement etc.) for such a DAC or for example the insurance DAC? I am interested, how much do you want to bet on me?

You should star in a reality show!

Wow, that is a really cool idea. My wife got me one of those Nike wristband watches ("Fuelband") that tracks steps, calories, and provides an overall score each day. You can plug it in and look at your metrics every day with cool charts, etc., from your phone or a PC. I wonder if something like that could be used to set some baseline data; one unit costs about $100. If a prediction market for this has not been done before, then it would be interesting to see what kind of a balance could be struck. I can imagine a bunch of futures contracts, calls and puts, at different levels with people striving to hit higher targets.

This is a great idea for a DAC... it seems to me that it must be expanded to be a fairly comprehensive health insurance DAC to succeed and reliably provide incentives for healthy people. I think it is inevitable that something like this happens, its just a matter of finding a model that works.

After reading this post I had the following ideas for a health insurance DAC that i'd like to put out there.

You could allow delegates of the DAC to verify people's overall health, and also allow them to regulate and verify legitimate pay out in the case of claims via financial incentives. Potentially solving the issue of assessment of verifiable data regarding health.

Maintaining membership in the DAC would be subject to a fee(how this is to be determined would be dynamic across stakeholders and dependant on amount of claims vs verified health status vs age of stakeholder). ie: it would be more expensive for people who 1: make more claims 2: aren't yet verified by a delegate 3: are verified but below the threshold status of "Healthy".

Further to the above, the stakeholders who have acquired the "Healthy" status would not be charged for inclusion into the DAC whilst this status is held. - the aquisition of the "Healthy" status would by definition require effort and monetary expenditure by any given person in the form of verified doctor visits/blood tests/age verification(there are more that may need to be included but this is an example).

Healthy Status: would be a threshold at a fixed point above the average health status of stakeholders. A combination of the verifiably measured metrics, claims and age of stakeholders would determine eligibility for this status and people with this status would be subject to review on the same schedule as the fee payment schedule.

To my knowledge alot of this has already been done by current health insurance companies and is tremendously profitable, the difference with a DAC like this would be that its not specifically a "for profit" entity so should be able to provide the insurance desired by people with an interest in their own health for a far lower price than would otherwise be provided by a private corporation. Also, the fact that the DAC gives people financial incentives to be healthy and prove they are healthy vs others is a big plus to members as it would help to keep claims down.

I would also imagine that as there would be healthy competition for the "healthy" status, that the median health status of stakeholders would be measurably higher than the status of non-members.

What are peoples thoughts on this? I don't have the necessary data or expertise in the field of health to come up with a DAC model, but someone who has worked  in finance for health insurance would likely be able to get access to the necessary metadata to be able to come up with a model that works.

Thoughts?

And everyone who knows you did this would have high expectation that you will lose the fat and slow the smoking and thus price that expectation into the value.     Perhaps the prediction market needs to be set to your 'future body' rather than your present body.

Many people want to improve their health and fitness but always struggle with motivation to keep it up.   What if someone were to create a DAC that allowed them to profit by improving their own personal health and maintaining accountability.   The worse health/shape you are in to begin with the more money you can make by improving your situation.

I would like to improve my own personal health so here is how I am thinking about approaching it. You start a blog and on your blog you post daily about your diet, your exercise, and your sleep habits.  Perhaps with semi-regular updates on weight, strength training, etc.    Then you use a prediction market to establish a price for which your body would go for if it were possible to to swap bodies with someone.

Now if you want this to be successful you must establish the best possible baseline for your current health with reports from reputable doctors.  Then every day you work to improve your body the higher the market value of your body will go.

With some careful marketing you will very quickly have a system by which anyone who wants to seriously commit to improving their health can get an entire army of speculators evaluating health.

Of course someone could just as easily 'tank' their health on purpose to profit, but I suspect that will not be in their own best interest to do.   The market would then price in not only your current valuation but the expectation of future performance.   The market would also track your own commitment / investment in your health.  The more you put on the line the higher your potential profits become.

Just a wild idea :)

In a way this can start to form a kind of health insurance for anyone willing to be public about their health.
