PTS Rising like the phoenix, 50% rise in just 1 day !

just saw that.  anything new happened??

It was announced that later BTS X chains would be based off of the test BTS chain and thus everyone is rushing to get PTS/AGS before the 28th since most of the market seems to think that BTS is worth a lot as a DAC but other concepts are not.

Personally, I think the market is a bit short-sighted in this regard.

oh sweet i am glad i need holding for 3 months

I wonder what PTS price will be after Bithshares X release  :-\

You may think that Bitshares X is free for PTS owners, but if PTS price drops sharply after Bitshares X release you might lose some of the BTC that you invested.

The price of Bitshares is embedded in the price of PTS, at least that's the way an efficient market would work.   :-\

The stability of the PTS price suggests that there's market consensus that PTS is different; when Bitcoin crashes it brings all the other bitcoin replicas with it, but PTS is in a different asset class so it weathers the storm.

The other thing to remember is that the value of PTS specifically comes from controlling the private key, so I bet that most PTS is held in private wallets instead of in online exchanges. Since there's less of it out there available to sell at the drop of a hat, its price movements are more muted.

I think PTS prices are where they are, because of BTC donations in AGS. Lately they've been increasing a bit, and so does the PTS price.

I've been observing Protoshares prices movement compared to other Altcoins and i'm impressed how it was able to hold in the $10-$14 despite the vast MAJORITY of Altcoins losing significant value. Even with today's $100/Bitcoin flash crash and the Gox news.

This seems to be a great indicator of investor confidence in Bitshares, more buyers and holders than sellers  :)
