Do we have an announcement post at BTT?

I did start a thread about BitShares X myself, but it's literally just me talking to myself -  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=675455.0

I think they are discussing starting some proper BTT threads here  https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=6016.0

Edit: (In my defence this thread I started about PTS did generate more interest, with the help of Clout and others
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=664146.0  )

Would love some more input from this forum in this thread.  If there is another thread other than the one friendofbitshares started I would love a link too.

+5% & Thanks for your input there Puppies, helping people out with registration BTSX and the demo web wallet.

I will definitely remember it when voting (When I can get a wallet working on my system.)

It's not complicated: only part of the supply was trading previously. Everyone could buy, a small fraction could sell. So the previous cap was inflated. If the exchanges hadn't traded their snapshot, this would be the starting price.

I like your conclusion toast, seems reasonable.

Has anyone started working on getting the other exchanges to list BTSX?  Do we have an announcement post at BTT?

With those volumes they will break their legs to list BTSX themselves, imho.

 +5%

I guess they may need some technical assistance though so should probably try make contact directly I guess with some of the main ones (Though BTCE doesn't seem to list any new things)

"everyone could buy" in theory but in practice ppl aren't going to put there money on a Chinese exchange when they can't even withdraw the btsx and don't know what it is.  I would never use bter unless trying to buy pts and I would not have even heard about btc38 if I were not apart of this community. If it gets on mintpal, bittrex, poloniex and cryptsy there will be ample demand.

I've been using bter for a long time and have found them quite reliable.  They have Two Factor Authentication and separate passwords for log in and fund transfers.  IMHO they have stood the test of time with smooth reliable service and a good amount of coin variety. That said I don't use them as a web wallet but that's just common sense for any exchange.

I'm not talking about how reliable they are I'm more talking about their btc volume. It's just not as conducive to trading as other sites that have a volume upwards of 500 btc. I'm not chinese, I don't trade in yuan. I trade in USD and BTC. So when the market opens up to other exchanges that have greater volume in btc and have usd at all, I would imagine there will be a price swing upwards. Obviously this is speculation, but this has been my experience over the last 3 months.

CNY volume outstrips BTC/BTSX volume 2/3 to 1, I don't think there is a single DAC/Coin where CNY/ volume even matches BTC/   1 to 1. On the one hand it is fantastic that we have appealed to the Chinese market much more than anything else out there but it also points at our failure to reach the English/Western market imo.

PTS /CNY has had bigger (sometimes 10x bigger) volume than PTS/BTC since at least March.

And believe it or not, not everything is marketing/PR. In very few occasion the rational for things is called market. I know it comes somewhat as a surprise to you Empirical1.  :)

I know it has bigger volume for a while. I have been bringing up that subject PTS/CNY for a while.

I know there are many investors who know very little about markets. One even thought the range for BTSX would be $2-15 million... I tried to buy from him at $21 million but he wouldn't sell :(

He sold at $31 mil remember  :)
He likes his profit from that deal  :)

Last night he bout at 0.0000147   :), small amount but still  :)

Yes that's true I forgot. He was a smart investor and did do a good deal actually  :)

Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.
