I'm not sure I'm going to be able to keep pace with one article per day, but I'll certainly do my best contribute something.

fuz actually approached me about a month ago about contributing to the new website he's working on. I happily agreed.

Any subjects in particular you want written about, or just want more written?

Before doing any SEO there should be a list of targeted keywords.

I don't think there is a big search volume for BitShares, POS, POW, DPOS etc right now though..
Later on, when BitAssets would be out, probably a bigger audience can be targeted, e.g. by "trading", "internet trading", "crypto trading", "short usd/btc", "derivatives" keywords.
Please keep in mind that SEO these days is a very delicate matter - some techniques used just several years ago might not work now and in the worst case scenario treated as spam. A very popular approach is natural SEO - just let it grow naturally, do a regular marketing, post to social networks, let people talk about and search engines will read all those signals and will rank your content accordingly.

I will volunteer a section on my alternative news site if anyone wants to register on my site and PM me with their registration name I will make them an author so they can post articles.  Site is in my profile.  I have started a crypto section with some info on PTS and Bitshares but I don't have much time to write.

I am also willing to setup and maintain a specific Joomla site for the community but I don't have much time to author articles or make extensive customizations.  Just PM me Bytemaster if you want to go to that level.

Going to blog about BitShares and point to BitShares related news.  Guest bloggers will be welcome!

Are you going to make it into something like this? https://www.litecoinglobal.com/
How about letting people log into Bitshares itself from your site? Is it technically possible?

This way if someone isn't at their computer or if they don't have it installed they can still log into it. It would give people something to talk about too.

For anyone else registering domains the most important thing about these sorts of blogs that I've learned from the Blackcoin community is to come up with very good names.

Examples
DailyBlackcoin.com
BlackCoinTV
Blackcoindirectory.com

And so on.

Register names which produce good or compelling mental images or frames for the person reading it. Make the names catchy. Take your time selecting names before registering domain names. Put Bitshares and/or it's technology in the name if you can.

So how about
BitsharesDaily.com
DelegatedProof.com
DelegatedWork.com
BitsharesTV
BitsharesDirectory

and so on.

Scan the Blackcoin and Dogecoin community for ideas on how to do it as they are experts at setting blogs up. Focus on technical analysis if you set up a BitsharesDaily type blog because you're trying to attract and entertain speculators. Have some charts up, some price modelling app so people can see where the price could go along with a nice graph.

See the DailyBlackcoin site to see how a technical analysis blog should look and what sections it needs.

After a site is set up then crowd source the community to come up with a unique slogan for each website. This way the essence of the community is in each blog or site.

We need to really take over google and to do that we need a lot of blog articles talking about what is going on.   Content needs to stay FRESH and be updated daily to maximize rankings.    More instructions will follow as we hear from our partners, but I would like to look for people who feel they can write something brief... perhaps 3 or 4 paragraphs per day about something related to this industry and include links to us.

This will serve two purposes... SEO and helping those who want to follow us stay up to speed.
