0.4.8 crashed while launching. I could never launch any BitsharesX versions.

I chose "reset database" to this popup dialogue.
[It appears that BitShares X crashed last time it was running. If this is happening frequently, it could be caused by a corrupted database. Would you like to reset the database (this will take several minutes) or to continue normally? Resetting the database will NOT lose any of your information or funds.]

I had similar problem with Electrum-LTC, I've reported it and they seem to properly fixing it.
Might find some hint this thread, around the linked post. (page 17~18)

I also have an old mac, and it's also never worked for me.

That is a very curious crash report.    It is interesting that the old version worked for you.

I think he means that it never worked for him.

I've been testing since 0.2.0 version however every time it crashes till current 0.4.6.
My machine is quite old, I think that's the reason.
