We are experiencing the same issue just attempting to get a delegate setup.

As soon as we unlock the wallet it starts scanning and will crash anywhere from 180 to 300 blocks with an error similar to this.
Ubuntu 14.04 latest and running the latest build from a few hours from now. Hardware is running ok.
What can we do for a hotfix or will there be an update?
