And also you can become a registered member by just paying 0.5 BTSX on the wallet, instead of posting to the forum.

That's my main point - less work for Overthetop, onceopenatime and a bunch of other good hearted forum members.
Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

Everything is all good. It turns out the windows client is far superior to the mac client. Got my btsx and everything is good!

Thanks GodsCreation
My software hasn't completed syncing
It says: Last block synced 6d 22h 58 ago and Catching up... processed 451522 out of 511383.
The second number updates, but the first one does not.
Would everything not being updated mean that my software doesn't see the transaction yet?

Also I can't resend with my account name because the transaction already went through to my account id.
Here's a snapshot of the transaction: http://screencast.com/t/SIWZ2LOzpk0R

Riverhead
Is the account id the same as the public key?

If you post up your public key someone will send you enough funds to register an account. Check out this thread:

make sure your blockchain is synced and try to transfer to your account name instead of public key.

This is what I did:
I transferred BTC to BTER
exchanged it for BTSX
Downloaded the Bitshares X App
created an account
then clicked withdraw on BTER and entered the account key.
BTER says it transferred the money, but there is nothing in my account on my Bitshares App.
