For now, you can make them appear by right clicking somewhere in the app's window and pressing reload. Key regeneration or rescanning should not be necessary.

This doesn't work for me.  No change.

Balances show up.  No transaction history.  I guess you may have only been referring to balances

My balance and transactions have disappeared after installation. If anybody know how to fix it I would be very grateful  :)

What version did everyone upgrade from? 0.4.22 ?

I havn't had transactions history since 0.4.15

updated with every release.

letting the client sit i get 100's of "JSON Parse error: Unterminated String"
clicking "show details" does nothing.

Same here, no transactions showing, then I did the rescan and right click reload and it worked. But this should not happen, what is causing this?

Try to right click anywhere inside the app window and press reload button and let us know whether this helps.

This worked for me. I had to do it again when I closed and reopened the client.

you type "rescan" and hit enter ... the parameters above are optional!

As long as you have a backup of your wallet your funds will be safe!!

you get any error messages?
have you tried turning it of and on again? (kidding)
have you tried recovering from the backup? Though this step should really not be required :(
can you go to the console and type "wallet_account_transaction_history" or "balance" .. do you see anything there?
