We can be almost certain they are fraudsters just from the blockchain. The scenario you describe where you frame someone is not possible.

OK , there must be some high tech stuff going on I don't know about .    :P

You guys go on ....

Should we burn these fake PaNGEL addresses?

Code: [Select]
[[
    "PaNGEL3ntC2djvBUyVeMDqvgwkLQk5Jooc",
    428464697
  ],[
    "PaNGELA9axAjyAabZi79NftqLi7Duvt9jX",
    8079750309
  ]
]
real one is

Code: [Select]
[
    "PaNGELmZgzRQCKeEKM6ifgTqNkC4ceiAWw",
    27337922874857
  ]

Slippery slope, but I support burning fraudsters.

So , what if , I post scam info around and use your address attache to the info as a payment gateway ?
Then , your address would be burned for my fault .

I hate scam too .... But as a block chain , we shouldn't have power over it . Otherwise , it would be way too easy to frame someone and get their address burned . If a exchange ban someone's address  , that's fine , exchange is controlled by human .

Hey guys!
As i understood PTS and AGS will live on after the snap shot today as snapshot base for 3rd party dacs.
What about BTSX? Will it also live on or will the new BTS be used as colleteral?
If BTSX lives on aswell, what can i understand under the new BTS?

BTSX rename   to BTS , that's all .

Sure, investors can buy and sell whenever they want to .. and I dare tell them they are doing wrong .. do what ever you like .. I am not a trader nor a big investor ..

I just wanted to make clear that those expecting BTS from their BTSX do not sell their stake because they thought BTSX has been snapshotted .. and they can get rid of them ..
That's just not the case.

well , no need to be worried ...because people aren't that stupid yet .... most exchanges gave out a detail plan telling people "BTSX will not be affected after snapshot" , so I'm just saying today's price movement just another issue .

Although one thing did seem odd is that PTS is not dropping ....

1385
PS Good opportunity to buy undervalued BTS (ex BTSX) but it is unfair for those they misunderstood the situation right now due bad communication from the external exchanges !
which still is the fault of the investor how did not investigate properly before doing his investment/divestment ..
If I had spare BTC lying around I wouldn't feel sad about buying more BTS(X) from uninformed sellers ..

they can blame the exchanges ..  8)
It's about time people start thinking about central exchanges and their powers

Well , I can tell you , people rarely made that mistake in China ..... so that's not it .
Some people just want to sell .

As for the reason why ? I don't think the people on this forum really need to ask that question after everything happened in the last month ....... people really get hurt , even the ones with big money .

It's an investment , after all . Calling it faith or dream does not change the fact that the market is filled with more than 90% investment money . We can't just expecting they have blind hope after their hopes were taken away from them in reality .

If we don't think for them now , you won't be able to be happy for buying at this price . Because when more people lose hope , the big money don't have any people to profit from , they'll left too .

We've seen good product failed by the market before . It's time to brace the reality : major investors left , it's not their fault , it's ours. And if we can't acknowledge that fact , even every major progress being made is gonna be just another good time for someone to dump their shares ,  one step forward , three step back .

'properly properly'

is some kind of powerful statement in Chinese (wild guess here), broadly translated as quite appropriate, reasonable, just, etc.

First heard of it in the phrase - "$500/BTSX properly, properly!"  NB The total supply of BTSX was expected to be 4Mil not 2Bil when the statement became popular.

my 0.02 BTSX

The original Chinese sentence if translated well would be  :  BTS is good , 500USD without any problem .

But Stan translated the Chinese sentence with google translater , so his result was : 500 knives properly properly .

And the Chinese remembered what Stan said , so "500 knives properly properly" is part of the new English slogan now .

Dollar --- simply reads "Dol" , and "刀" also reads "Dol" in Chinese , so it's a slang for dollar .   The real meaning for "刀" is knife. So if you use a google translator to translate the Chinese slang for  USD , you would end up with "knife" .

500 knives properly properly !!

Can someone explain what this means?

Whenever I translate the chat on btc38 they are always saying '500 knives'

explained here .

Another info :  Dollar --- simply reads "Dol" , and "刀" also reads "Dol" in Chinese , so it's a slang for dollar .   The real meaning for "刀" is knife.

Thanks for your sense of justice. However, since the truth is already quite clear, we don't need to whip his dead body over and over again, right?

In case somebody want to dig the tomb to see the history, please see the posts as follows:

I think the whole community hopes to leave this crap on the behind ASAP, then we can go back to the route towards     500刀 :D

500 knives properly properly !!

Thanks , gamey  .

BTW , have you heard of  btsync ?

https://www.btsync.com/en/getting-started/

It's a great way of sharing files , like a private cloud .

It'll be more effective in the future if you can use this to share the mumble audio .

If you're interested and don't know how to do it , I can write you a guide .

I have not tested windows independently yet, but it works fine for other systems. Will put it on github in a few hours if nobody has complaints.

We are in favor of separating block signers from delegate accounts.

A block signer can be appointed and paid by a delegate and can be fired/reassigned at any time by a delegate.

We cannot have more than 101 elected positions, it simply doesn't scale.

so marketer delegates don't have to know about server/vps...etc and still can be paid by a network ? That would be nice ...

Well, this has motivated me to cast my first vote and it was not an intuitive experience.

- Feedback on the voting experience -  (thought I would just post it here)

A few weeks ago I thought I had voted by simply clicking up on a bunch of delegates, but I wasn't sure as I thought a transaction was needed to cast the vote.  Since then I hedged in bitUSD several days ago, so I thought my vote had gone through then as I had made a transaction (even though I still got the message that my not all my stake was voting, I thought, well most of it must be).

But then today I updated a bunch of my votes in the 'delegate' section and downvoted (which I discover is removing the ability to vote in favour rather than a downvote) of the 5 suspect accounts here.  I then thought that I need to make a transaction to cast my vote, so I went and bought 0.1bitUSD, thinking that would do the trick.  But I did that and my account continued to say I was not voting with all my stake.  So, I kept looking and found in my account the 'update vote' button,

I didn't want to 'vote all' as that sounded like I could vote even for the delegates I had downvoted, and I didn't want a random subset as that sounded like it could include them too, so I clicked 'vote as delegates recommended', and found a bunch of delegates I didn't upvote in the delegates section were voted for.  Confused, I looked on the wiki, and saw that "vote as delegates recommend" results in voting for a delegates 'slate' I had approved.  Who's slate?  I still do not know who's 'slate' I approved and I was still getting the 'your not voting with all of your stake' message.  Where do you see and approve a delegates 'slate'?

So, I pressed on, determined to get my vote in, so I looked on the wiki and saw I needed to vote for 101 delegates to get that message to go away and that if I clicked 'vote all' it would do as I said.  So I went back to the delegates and made sure to click on at least 101 delegates, even going into the standby-delegates section to make sure I voted for enough (as some in the top 101 I didn't want to vote for, I hadn't kept count of all the ones in the top 101 I didn't want to vote for so I just had to keep voting in the sub-101 to make sure I had upvoted enough)  and then I updated my vote.  So I presume if I only clicked 100 delegates I would still get that 'not all of your stake is voting' message?

Mission accomplished (at last).

But that was not an intuitive voting experience.  Why is the 'update vote' button not in the delegates section where the voting is done?  It would help if there was some little instructions that appear as you mouse over the 'vote all, vote none etc' so the wiki doesn't need to be read at the same time.  And what is the purpose of choosing a 'random selection'?  It seems to complicate the process pointlessly.  A user should be able to immediately understand that "vote all" means to vote for all the delegates you have approved and it should be one the same page.

Thanks for the feedback here... we do need to improve that.

what do you think of "half-life voting power" ? For instance , I vote with 1 million BTSX , after half a year or something , the votes automatically down to 0.5 million .  What's the point ? If big holder voted for a bad employee , and that voter forget his password of the wallet , that votes would've stayed there forever ....
