General Discussion / Re: $3,000,000 24h Volume, 40% ahead of Ripple

i am honestly getting a bit nervous.  i really hope this isn't a pump and that this rise is backed by real investors.

This is not a pump.  Simply put - it's a better technology than bitcoin.  It won't be long before more people begin to realize it makes more sense to transfer the value from bitcoin to bitshares.  I think $1 per share is a SUPER conservative estimate in the relatively short term future.

Still a bargain at 3 cents each imho.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Non-Technical Delegates of the World Unite!
« on: August 22, 2014, 01:34:40 pm »
I am interested in knowing how many people are wanting to take part in a Google Hangout with screensharing so people can see precisely how to do it.

We will post it to the BeyondBitcoin Channel on Youtube and to the BeyondBitcoin SubForum.

hands up

Same for me!

Totally missed the gun when this went live, I was real into PTS when it started but life got at me.  just saw BTSX went live.  how/what do i need to do to become a delegate? and what is the benefit for people making me a delegate and benefit for me?  sorry if this is noob question.  feel free to point me in right direction :-)

Same here. I'm really interested and curious and would really like to know more about this. Would really appreciate a Delegates 101 kind of thread, explaining the how to's, what is needed, what it is, duties and responsibilities, costs it might have, etc, etc

Posting to learn more about becoming a delegate.
What are some of the specs to look at when shopping for a VPS?

My interest in setting up a delegate has actually been influenced by a couple of PMs with fuznuts; I'm looking to utilize the delegate earnings to bootstrap a startup I've been working on for a few years and transition the functionality of this "physical" startup into the DAC world to solve a major global problem.  I've been hypothesizing that beyond the "internet of things", there will be a "blockchain of things" where physical embedded systems will be connected through blockchains.  I'd like to attempt to do this with food production.

Looking for like-minded people to help out, PM me for details.  Will hop on the mumble server in the near future to explain more.

Smiling from ear to ear  :D When we hit bitcoin's market cap, I'm sure we will all be able to gather for a drink with the Bitshares team  ;D

and everyone will be flying in on their own private jets...  :P

Excellent work!  +5%

I have been promised more PTS for the community fund, so from that I can promise you either,

100$ in PTS before the snapshot (it will fall relative to dollar), or
100$ after the snapshot (more PTS per dollar) or
100$ in BTSX

Not sure how fast PTS transactions are moving, but I will check this thread in 3 hours time.
I'll also give you a bounty for the initiative once I get the community-PTS.

Great!! ..Possible to do 50% BTSX and 50% post-snapshot PTS?

In any case - I'll submit tomorrow morning to Thunderclap after I get paid (it'd be criminal to liquidate any BTSX right now... ;))

This is exactly what I've been looking for a description for the Thunderclap campaign!  Can we use this?

#3
  • BitSharesX Dominates Crypto 2.0 Market Cap, Sets sights on LTC
+5% those are not too aggresive and egoistic

I feel we want to be happy and proud without being mean. We're all in the same community and there's no reason we can't all be successful.

+5% I really like both of these.

How much is the daily withdrawal limit on btc38? (I am not able to find this info in the English site)
It is 6btc, but you can sumbit a ticket to require uplimit. :)

Does this apply only to BTSX or BTC as well?  I tried to withdraw BTC under that limit and have been notified I've reached my daily limit.

Fuz, could you ask bm if tge are workin on a solution for the creation pf unsigned transactions? Application would be offline transactions.

Could you also ask him to tell us more about his plan on multisig transactions?

Thx man

+5% on Xeroc's question.

I listened to the last dev chat and I'd like to throw in my 2 btsx;  I believe one of the features in the bitcoin network is the ability to send funds to the same address for public verifiability. (i.e. the Dorian donation address)  How is this going to be possible in the BitShares network?  In other words, what is the 'workaround' (for lack of a better term) to TITAN in order to make transactions public?

I had a question with regards to a potential allusion in the August Newsletter; is there a iPhone wallet in the works?!
