Looks like I have to build a linux machine and then build a node and then run the script.

I am starting to question my investiment into this. You would think they would have a mindset for a friendly report version
for windows users using there Bitshares windows UIs.

Hello I have the lite Gui installed

Can you tell me where I can download or display the transaction history for tax purposes ?
I can see under "activity" some transactions but I would have thought there was some report or export somewhere.

If you can tell me how to see this, I cant find much online either. ???

It was the anti-virus software (mcafee) that was putting it into a quarentine state.
This was driving me nuts until you pointed that out.

For Mcafee I went to settings - realtime scanning - excluded files and added the bitshares install file. That worked for me
it runs up and stays live now.

Technical Support / How do I migrate wallet to another machine

I have had to and (try)move my existing cloud wallet to another machine
but each time I install it on my new windows 10 laptop, the new wallet will run for 10 seconds, close down and delete itsself..???

I have my original machine powered off at the same time (I am loathed to uninstall it it first incase my new install does now work).

Is there something, some other export step that needs to be done ? I cant find it for the wallet version. I havnt been able to find a clear instruction on this.

Any help appreciated

I rebooted my laptop, started the wallet application again and the bts is there!

I will check this when I get home.
To ask a uninformed question, if my laptop gos offline or there is an internet problem would the bts shares
still sync to the wallet later after the connection fixes itsself or laptop reboots ?

Is there a way to re-sycn the wallet to my BTS assets (just incase they have not arrived) ?

 I used Blocktrades , sat there and waited for 4 hours and nothing.

I verified it was sent from my exchange and have a transaction id ? not sure what you meen around verify if BTC was accepted

It appears to have been sent to the address provided by the bridge on the Bitshares wallet

I installed the application on my laptop, setup an account and used the bridge function to try to buy BTS.

Hello I am completely new to bitshares and have just downloaded the wallet

I cannot seem to get any exchange data ? I have un-installed and re-installed several times, login in and out
Is there something I am supposed to do first ? it remains blank. "Dashboard" tab gives me info and so dos "explore"

I dont fancy sending btc to the wallet unless I see it functioning first.
