General Discussion / Is there a way to see all open orders?
« on: January 21, 2015, 12:30:19 pm »
It's great that all bitasset markets are open now.
But is there a way, to show all open orders in the GUI?

If not, would it be hard to implement such a feature?

General Discussion / POW, POS, and the consensus debate

The title speaks for itself. Just one mention of BitShares here, but nothing about DPOS.

Maybe some of the more gifted writers could leave a comment:

Let's say that once bitshares XT is up and running without the need for a reset. And at a certain point it would be stable at $100. Then a new chain with new bit assets would be announced, with a certain snapshot date. In the run up to the snapshot date, the price of BTS would go up to $200. Because BTS XT would give a share in the new chain. After the snapshot date BTS XT would drop just like PTS probably will.

Would it make sense that BTS will stabilize under the original $100 price?
Because  BTSXT=BTSXT+ BTS 2nd chain + 3th chain etc.....
And after that the above - the 2nd chain.

BitShares AGS / What happens to donations from non-personal wallets?
« on: January 22, 2014, 11:37:27 pm »
With the upcoming conference and extra media coverage, AGS donations will likely draw new crowds. But what would happen if someone were to donate from let's say his bitstamp account?

Not giving a refund might end up in bad "vibes".

If a refund were to be given, this would mean that the donations have to be recalculated. But since the AGS parsers only count incoming transactions, it wouldn't count the refund.
