Stakeholder Proposals / Public Announcement
« on: January 19, 2023, 04:36:09 pm »
As an active committee member of BitShares Blockchain and a core developer I am announcing the below:

1 ) New Logo: https://bitshares.github.io/images/2020-10-logo_bts4.png

2 ) BitShares Description:

## About BitShares

BitShares Blockchain is a decentralized “Blockchain As Organization” (BAO); an industrial-grade decentralized Web 3.0 platform built for high-performance financial means and smart contracts. It represents the first decentralized autonomous community that enables its core token holders to decide its future direction and financial products. In contrast to other smart contracting platform, its strictly focused on security and reliability which allowed BitShares Blockchain to become the largest host of decentralized exchanges worldwide.

BitShares Blockchain is similar to a publicly owned company or open joint-stock companies. Yet, unlike traditional entities, BitShares Blockchain does not require registration in any jurisdiction, because trust between it’s users is mediated by an (AI) technology over the internet.

BitShares Blockchain is reinventing the global equity blockchain – that is secure, smart and easy-to-use platform, and completely disrupting the way businesses raise capital and the way investors buy and sell shares.

BitShares Blockchain, as it exists today, was launched on 13th October 2015 with its community being established already in 2013. It implements an industrial-grade decentralized platform built for high-performance smart contracts with focus on the financial technologies sector, BitShares represents the first decentralized autonomous cooperation that lets holders of its core native token BTS decide on its future direction and governance aspects.

Even though BitShares Blockchain comes with over 50 already implemented operations which deserve to be presented, this document focuses on the description of BitShares Blockchain as a platform, its architecture as well as its governance system using the core native token BTS.

BTS - BTS is the core asset utility which is needed to submit transactions on BitShares Blockchain; it is also used for BitShares development purposes; while BTS asset shareholders are in power to manage and develop BitShares and influence its future using several decentralized integrated functions and tools such as decentralized worker and voting system.

BitShares Blockchain runs on an open-source blockchain implementation known as Graphene, which is reportedly capable of processing up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS) — making it faster than both MasterCard and VISA combined.

### Development of BitShares Blockchain

BitShares Blockchain was developed through an agile teamwork, some of the participants are well known to the Blockchain industry, such as (Daniel Larimer, Charles Hoskinson and Abitmore) who'd accomplished software engineering and had co-founded several other prominent blockchains and ventures including EOS.IO, Block.one and Steemit.

#### BitShares Blockchain Features

BitShares Blockchain enable several financial innovations such as: User Issued Asset (UIA), Market Pegged Asset (MPA), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), Decentralized Exchange Engine (DEX), Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Automated Market Maker (AMM) and Hashed Time-lock Contract (HTLC).

Decentralized Exchange (DEX):

The decentralized exchange (DEX) of BitShares has a similar look & feel as traditional centralized exchanges. However, trading in the DEX can have many different appearances, depending on what user-interface is used.

Smart Assets (Smart Contracts):

The benefit of price-stable cryptocurrencies is that they are fully collateralized, and the issuer only needs to be trusted to appoint an honest set of independent (non-collusive) feed producers. Unlike deposit receipts, the value of a Privatized Smart Assets is secured.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi):

DeFi cryptocurrencies are fully collateralized, and the issuer only needs to be trusted to appoint an honest set of independent (non-collusive) feed producers. Unlike deposit receipts, the value of a Privatized SmartCoin is secured even if the issuer disappears.

Decentralized Liquidity Pools (LP):

Instead of traditional markets of buyers and sellers, many decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms use automated market makers (AMMs), which allow digital assets to be traded in an automatic and permissionless manner through the use of liquidity pools.

### Buying BTS of BitShares Blockchain

BitShares token (BTS) is currently available to purchase or trade over several of the most prominent cryptocurrency exchange platforms such as (Binance, Poloniex, Huobi, LATOKEN, gate.io, mexc, and bittrex) and many others.

As a BitShares committee member, I’d addressed an official email to current Coin Market Cap [coinmarketcap.com] community account owner “milos.preocanin@bitshares.org” and he hasn’t replied since more than a week, I am attempting to do an account take over for the Coin Market Cap [coinmarketcap.com] account in order to manage the community interests and updates.

Our Committee Blockchain Account: iobanker-core

How Do We See BitShares:

BitShares is a decentralized permissionless “Blockchain As Organization” (BAO); a powerful beyond bitcoin innovation in which its core asset BTS is being utilized as an organization proof of stake and a utility token in order to serve BitShares Blockchain users financial means in a form of transactions and contracts fully stored on each node of its decentralized network.

BitShares Blockchain is very similar to public companies or open joint-stock companies; yet it’s not required to be registered nor trusted.

BTS core asset of BitShares is used for development purposes; while BTS asset shareholders are in power to manage and develop BitShares and influence it's future using several decentralized integrated functions and tools such as decentralized worker and voting system.

BitShares is trustless, permissionless and fully managed on the internet. BitShares had enabled several blockchain functions at its single core such as DEX decentralized exchange engine, DeFi and AMM enabled assets factory and HTLC.

Stakeholder Proposals / Proxy: bitshares-vision
« on: August 26, 2019, 10:33:58 pm »
Dear BitShares Community,

It has been a year since I've joined into the core of this great network, I've been here utilizing and studying the network for the last year while interacting with it's governing body and it's great developers, I was questioning everything I've witnessed so far, because I believe any improvement thoughts would require to question the experience itself.

I'm here because I am a believer of the ultimate vision of this great work, the vision that aims to give the opportunity for our kind to invest and develop our value on a permissionless decentralized network through the great efforts of investors and workers from all over the planet who facilitate the value protection and the dynamic transparent governing to the network, that concept would always give the opportunity to BitShares holders to decide who is governing their value and it's investment, this concept will always guarantee the opportunity to the best developers and builders to own BitShares dynamically and to influence investors for the best directions.

I believe the BitShares community agrees with me that improving the value of BitShares in front of any other value in the world is our ultimate aim; Our aim is to make sure that our existing value is secured and being invested to gain more value in return.

Today I've decided to step further and to address the proxy "bitshares-vision" to intend in helping the BitShares community to improve voting mechanism to meet the ultimate vision, the below might describe my strategy.

I believe in simplicity; I think every enhancement would come out of answering some simple questions about our experience, I am addressing some of these questions below, I would love to read any constructive thoughts about them, I am not a blamer and I'm not here to blame but to improve:

1) What makes BitShares has value in front of any other value?

Today we have 2333 different coins listed at CMC, many of these coin owners had paid for their listing here and there, many of these coins are running identical open sources or forks, they mostly share the same features, what makes every coin different is the, use cases around it then it's availability, commonly available features on blockchain are not helping to add value to any new coin, listing a coin will put it on the shelf, but why would someone buy it? very few will buy it because they've heard good news about it or saw it crossing 2% in that day, some saw it at #60 level in CMC, some would buy it because some few youtubers was talking about it, if people are looking for popular coin to buy it, its easier for them now days and less headache, I believe investing the existing value to have business use cases will have more priority than marketing and listing at this time and stage.

2) What makes BitShares unique in front of other Blockchains and why would an investor invest on BitShares?

BitShares network developers support compatible back-ends and front-ends together, while many other blockchains doesn't support front-ends, BitShares is also offering unique features such as "User Issued Assets" and "BitAssets" that would help any organization to issue assets and perform accounting without the need to have technical skills to maintain systems, BitShares is aiming to create the best decentralized assets exchange technology from a to z, I am so thankful to our core developers and appreciating their great efforts for implementing the latest HTLC feature.

3) How to invest in development without devaluing our existing value?

I believe budgeting and classifying our network expenses is the half way answer for this question, workers should propose their development workers according to proxies visions, prioritizing workers should be taking place and timing gap must get implemented between them, a capital study must take a place to define the impact of any investment on the existing value and to provide ROI (Return of Investment) justification, workers must be classified into two categories, OpEx (Operating Expenses) and CabEx (Capital expenses) and these terms must be used within the worker's name, OpEx must get paid on-time and must have more priority than CabEx so we maintain the network's reputation in front of it's developers so they will invest themselves while keeping the network stable.

4) Where to invest and how to prioritize investment?

Every period of time, the network must define a budget that will pay the CabEx workers, these workers must focus on BTS use cases which would utilize BTS as a utility, I assume they are financial institutions or IT software companies, these workers must get studied well and must have a proper defined ROI (Return of investment), any attempt limitations, rejections or legal consideration must get addressed to the community and a mission should get drafted for it, a worker must take a place for these considerations, for example "law certification" should be handled by a "lawyer" worker, maybe in some cases we need minor changes within our infra/core or UI to meet the requirements but we should not depend on assumptions or solo source information.

Stakeholder Proposals / Introducing iobanker-core
« on: November 22, 2018, 03:18:57 am »
Dear stakeholders and the community members,

My name is Ammar Yousef (R0CK) and I hereby to introduce myself to the respectful Committee and Witness members who are behind this wonderful futuristic platform.

About me:

I'd rather to say I'm from Earth; I've lived enough to adore technology, science, philosophy, universal history, ancient languages and playing music.

I believe I'm doing nothing but continuing my infinite existing information's journey, I'm watching thru the eye, yet I have no choice
but to witness.

I believe I can be an active positive entity within any community or group; serving the holy society and environment around me and expecting a peaceful eternal life. I’m blessed to be married to a beautiful lovely wife and to have my only son Julian the smartest boy ever and I’m doing my best for them and for the society behind me.

I've been on the internet since I was 12 years old, I'm almost 37 years old now, I've been into many projects on the internet related to science and society.

I've been administering banking systems for 15 years.

My latest work is a decentralized exchange, I've established limited company in Estonia and got licenses to perform crypto exchange financial services.

We are finalizing the project at this great platform and looking for support, we've chosen this great platform because we believe in DEX and we believe in trustless philosophy when it comes to this market.

I've done the setup of the core node myself along with the UI and it's currently deployed and operating from data centers in Germany and I've successfully done the setup of the witness node "iobanker-core".

I'm so glad that I've found you guys and looking forward to hear from you.

Regards,

Ammar Yousef
