I need help recovering funds from a 2014 wallet. I have the password and the wallet. Can anyone help me?
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
The following works for me when client fails to sync or loses sync.
keep in mind-> NEVER delete the wallet folder
stop the client by typeing "stop"
wait for it to stop.
Press Start button.
type %appdata%
hit ENTER
open BitShares folder
delete peers.leveldb folder
delete these 3 .json files ( checkpoints.json, config.json, node_config.json )
restart the CLI bitshares_client.exe
CLI should now start and sync, check status with "info"
If the above doesn't work you may also delete the chain folder as well as the others mentioned above and try again.
This however requires you to download the entire chain again and takes a long time. So hopefully you won't have to delete the chain
Of course NEVER delete the wallet folder.
