MemoryCoin / Re: Memorycoin Shareholders Please Read

for security reasons I thing nobody should give such information's to anybody...

What's the problem with letting shareholders in on Team Communications + Developments as they happen?

I think he may have been talking about associating a name / account to one of the top 100 address. If ever the coin become worth a lot of money then so would those addresses and the accounts may become a target. I'm just speculating here about what he meant but that would make sense.

I don't know much about this stuff but couldn't it be that the first address is the cold storage of BTer and the second biggest address, their online wallet?

If you had to say you got one (or several) of those parameters wrong Freetrade, which one would it be?

One of the attractiveness of memorycoin at the moment was that 70%+ is already mined. It had a nice inflation decrease over time and the coin cap is adapted to that decrease. Why change that? I see you talk about psychological reasons to adopt but what would they be?

Will the block reduction (5% per week) change or only the total coin cap?

Hopefully the meeting will clear that up but it will be hard to guarrantee a rise in the MMC value if the block reduction & reward ends up changing.

How can we cash in those Lottoshares?

Thank you for the update! I am personally grateful for the work you're doing and it's a shame that people are jumping off the ship. But then the longer you go on with a price decrease the less people stick with it. It's a good coin and with people like you still working for it, it hopefully will get the recognition it deserves.

I've been trying to buy a fair amount of coins those last few days on bter and i have to say getting them at the current market prices is almost impossible. There is so little volume traded on the mmc/btc pair that as a buyer it's really a challenge to get them. I had to switch to mmc/cny to get a minimum amount of coins. The lack of liquidity makes it very hard to get into and could put off some strong investors.

But on the other hand that also means that it doesn't require much buys to get back to previously seen levels.

Interesting read indeed. What other coins are your working on right now? I was thinking a piece about Vertcoin might be interesting because of the hype it got these last few days with its 1500% move (and it seems to answer to one of your criteria : hardware decentralization).

Anyway i always check back on that thread to see if there is update. Of course it is biased, but that's like the other 100% of the analysis out there.

MemoryCoin / Re: Should FreeTrade be Voting?

After all, having a certain amount of MMC is like having shares in a company. Even if you are the main shareholder or founder, it shouldn't mean your voice shouldn't be heard. On the contrary! You are the one that got the more at stake in this, so heck yeah you should vote! Just like everyone else would vote if they were in your position (well, i know i would anyway).
Props for asking the community though. I personally think that is the right way to do it.

I wanted to apologize, apparently i misunderstood your comment replying to the pool owner. It did look like a threat to me and i apparently wasn't the only one interpreting that way. But it appears you didn't mean it that way so i can recognize that i accused you unfairly of being aggressive.

On the other hand i can' t apologize for criticizing and pointing out things that make the coin look very bad and trying to open the eyes of the officer if they can't see it by themselves. No amount of mining and holding i can do by myself actually would have any impact compared to the officer's each time they express or deal with legitimate questions here. That doesn't prevent me from mining though as little as my hardware allow me to because i do believe in some principles of the coin and i am happy with various aspect of the implementation. It won' t stop me from, as you put it so beautifully "bitching" when i feel like something is hurting the coin.

Congrats for your business i am very happy for your success.

This is kind of sad that instead of a little transparency and diplomacy you guys fire back with another accusation of "vote manipulation". It basically looks like you are confirming that the current voting system is rotten to the core. I'm sure people must be rushing to buy and mine memorycoins now.

Are you currently looking into improving the voting system? Do you think there is improvement to be done on it (is it even possible) or you really think everything is well even though you are shooting back at each other accusation about vote manipulation?

Edit: Seraphim, look at how as an officer you treat people in your coin's community. Come on guys, how is it supposed to make people want to join if even you guys can't be courteous and calm.

Short answer - no, not yet.

On the upside, we are not going to 51% the network or try other funny things. You may remember how btcguild was handling over half of bitcoin network and nothing special happened - for the same reason.
What if I hold a gun to your head?
It is very clear how exactly centralisation is bad, but it is (obviously) against our selfish interest to opensource the thing on the moment. It is also against the same selfish interest to harm the coin.
Its also against your selfish interest for me to not put a bullet in your brain. Even if you did it privately with other pools and arrange a part of their fees to go to you that would be considerably better than you having all the control.

I trust you, its just there are always ways of making you do things, or gaining access to your servers and doing things.

Definitely glad you were part of the memory coin leadership for two elections.

I wasn't aware criticism could only be directed at FreeTrade.

And on top of that you are either paranoid or like i said, very naive. Just read back the historic of your comments and take a step back. It is really not that hard to realize how people might share my opinion. I don't really know newmine apart from the few post i read when he was trying to get elected and i don't especially side with him AT ALL. I'm just pointing out how all the elected team looks and sound hoping you fix it because that would help all of us.

And i'm sure you can figure out who are duplicate accounts or not and we both know i am not one. Don't try to dismiss criticism by making it seem like only an extreme minority has the capability of having a dissident opinion. It really does not make the case for you or your team being PR competent. Good luck trying to attract people and calm doubts with that mentality.

Although i give you guys props for not deleting posts like mine, at least it is not completely hopeless.

Thank you very much mc2miner! Boosted my mining of around 20% as well!
