Exploit : to make use of meanly or unfairly for one's own advantage.

Just a differing in definition.

I did hear back after a few days regarding my ticket. Seems there is nothing they can do. Here is a link to my bitshares explorer account page:http://bts.ai/u/postup5
Looks like openledger-security has control and has all but drained it. It is unacceptable that nothing has been said or done to protect others from this exploit. I won't be using bitshares anymore.

This is not an exploit. You need to be aware of what you are agreeing to when approving a proposal.

Bump. Anyone have any input? Or am I talking to a wall?

These are breaking errors for bts.ai. Has anyone seen this post? I still cannot access my transaction history on bts.ai

Can anyone directly reach out to whoever coded it?

I submitted a ticket to them over a week ago with no response. Issues with depositing onto their platform.

I just realized that an account needs to be a LTM to use the blacklisting function.

Is there a reason for this? Should this be necessary? I am only asking because I do not know. If there is a solid reason, I am cool with that. But if there is not, maybe we should reconsider this choice.

Hello, World!

8
Also worth noting: bts.ai doesn't even display the transaction in the block or load the raw json for the block:

Title.

I am building a blacklisting function into a bot and wanted to see what the transaction looked like. Upon looking on two different explorers, I found that they also have trouble displaying these operations. bts.ai doesn't even load account history with it in there. bitshares-explorer.io loads, but doesn't display operation type. Pics below for reference:

I tried this out earlier today. (I treated it like a game almost)

Very quick deposit times, great UI. If I was more of an active trader I would consider using that site over others.

This looks like a bad ai writing an article.

Python-BitShares has been a huge help to me with my programming ventures, I would absolutely support a worker that would develop it.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: [Worker] Reference faucet via BitShares.eu

FYI:
Due to a distributed attack on the onboarding faucet, account registration for account names that are shorter than 6 is now forbidden. The (now stopped) attacker tried to have hundreds of thousands of accounts registered with community funds.

Thank you for being diligent in dealing with the attack. I wouldn’t be sorry about the restriction, one person can ruin things for many people.

As far as dealing with it, that is a hard call. I really like how easy the onboarding process is for new members, it is difficult for me to suggest anything that really inhibits the process. Maybe account names that are shorter than 6 have to be a premium account? This wouldn’t slow down the process and it would give incentive to purchase the shorter names.
