BitShares PTS / Re: fast AMD OpenCL PTS miner released
« on: February 26, 2014, 06:50:58 pm »
Do you guys have any ideas of my problem...

Basically, when I pair up my 7850 and 7950, I can run the 7950 on its own and it gives me around 2500 CPM when I have set it to 1,1 cores. When I pair up my 7950 with another 7950, both of them produce around 700 CPM when I set them to 0,0 and 1,1 respectively. When set these back to 0 and 1 - i.e. single cores, I get them to produce around 1800 CPM.... Any ideas what is wrong? Both the 7950s have 3GB memory. My 7850 has only 2GB memory so I run it on single core but it still produces a respectable 1200CPM

Can anyone help please?

Should I be running 1 or 2 threads when I use the 270x? Also which algorithm is best for this card ?

I am getting a lot of "share data time overflow".... any ideas ??

But 3 days ago, I think I got almost 4 PTS with my 7k CPM... Today only 2.7 :O  :'( :'(

7
Any ideas why the find rate has been so poor the last few days ?

8
Just mining this place using my laptop with the radeon 6650M.. Quite impressed I can get 200 CPM on it.

9
I was using it as my primary card there so I got an error... Might try it again later and plug it into my other slot

10
Is there any way I can use my Asus 570 GTX which only has 1280MB ram to mine?

11
Is there any way I can configure the cards specifically ie clock speeds etc. like in cgminer ?

Is my stale rate anything to do with me unplugging my monitor ? I obviously have a couple of rigs but I only connect 1 to my monitor at any given time. I do use the dummy plugs with the resistors for one of them but the CPM seems to be hovering around the 6500CPM region
No, stale shares are not related to hardware, you would be getting 'invalid-momentum' rejects if it was for hardware errors.

Cool thanks

I am getting a number of Rejected prevhash-stale errors after I leave my computer idealing for a while when I goto bed. Any ideas how to minimize this ? I did a calculation and I should have a total of 7500 CPM based on what I can see on the miners but it is only showing 6300 - 6800 on average

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] PTS.1GH.COM - GPU mining

I just did some calculations on MMC and PTS mining with a R9 280x:

MMC: http://agran.net/memorycoin2_calc.html => 20 hpm = 0.0065 BTC/day

PTS: http://mrx.im/pts.php => 1000 cpm = 0.0062 BTC/day

Pretty bad  :-\

You are not wrong there... despite the high CPM, it is misleading. I had 5300 cpm for 12 hours only to get 0.5 PTS. Look at what other people are getting and you will get an idea. I have stopped GPU mining PTS.
