Historically cash has been a great way to transact, offering a lot of privacy. What will be the stance of bitCash on privacy? Do you expect to add privacy features to the wallet for example? I suppose it will depend in part upon how BitShares progresses, but do you have any fundamental views or approaches in this regard?

You said that you are a simple bitUSD-only wallet provider. Is this a kind of "keep it simple stupid" approach, or do you have other specific reasons for limiting your remit?

If things really take off in the future, and other 'bitCurrencies' gain huge liquidity, would you expand to include these?

Have you considered using the currency sign somehow in the graphics?

Oh about BitShares not being about payment services? Well i meant BitShares shouldn't be conditioned by that. Service providers should adapt. I have no problem with any business using BitShares. The more services the better, more value they add to BitShares

the most important thing is for people to easily remember and say it. meaning is simple and straightforward so it seems it's just a matter of personal preference for me.

I know you were harsh on it early on, but hopefully it grows on you.   There is a trend away from the 'bit' and towards blockchain etc. and I can understand that, but I think it's ok to identify more closely with Bitcoin.   One way to think of it as 'bitcoin' is like digital gold so it's a 'coin' and used more like a reserve currency/collectible/gold rather than for payments whereas we are like digital dollars, hence the 'cash'. 

bitcoin = digital gold
bitcash = digital dollars

We'll do the drawing for $100 bitUSD at the beta launch when we move on from the launch page....

I thought it was implicit I was interested by posting here. The fact I find it strange doesn't mean I was harsh, I think I wasn't, was just stating my opinion. I found it strange but the name does it job, that's better than having a "cool" name that doesn't do its job.

If I didn't make it clear, I'm interested of course, I want everything that is related to BitShares to succeed.

I was referring to a post from another thread, but not a big deal.  Hopefully the name grows on you and it would be great to have a long time member like yourself as part of the club so welcome aboard @Akado!
