Dear participants

Thank you for attending and contributing to the International workshop on “*P2P
Financial Systems 2015*” organized by the SAFE Research Center Goethe
University Frankfurt, Deutsche Bundesbank, University College London and
kindly supported by ECUREX Research.

We hope you had a great time at the workshop. We certainly did. With over
100 participants from 18 different countries (21% students, 31% academics
and 48% practitioners and regulators), 28 speakers and generally such a mix
of backgrounds, interests, and personalities, we consider this first event
in the P2PFISY series a resounding success.

P2PFISY 2015 was the first event of its kind organized by a central bank
and two research centres one with a strong focus on financial economics and
regulation and the other on computer science applications to finance.

We see this as a very good omen for the future of the field. Through your
participation, each of you made a significant contribution to developing
the understanding of, and building a common language for: P2P lending and
crowdfunding, Digital currencies, Smart contracts and Distributed
Autonomous Organisations, and generally the economics, the regulation, and
the technology of P2P financial systems.

Some of the papers presented during these two days will be selected to
appear in the book “*Banking beyond Banks & Money*”, a special Springer New
Economic Windows series. If you are interested to contribute please send us
your suggestions.

We appreciate your continued interest, and your support of the ongoing
discussion on P2P finance. We are also delighted to use this occasion to
extend an open invitation to the “*P2P Financial Systems 2016*” workshop,
which will be held at University College London.

Finally, a special thanks goes to Loriana Pelizzon and Tomaso Aste for
helping make this event such a great success!

Sincerely,

Paolo Tasca

We HAVE to actively take part in this next year. A paper presentation about BitShares is very needed and most people there talk about the need for P2P platforms like BitShares not knowing that it is very close to being released (stable).

yeahhhhh!
