I had a very nice skype chat with @iHashFury today and we may be onto something here. During the mumble yesterday he mentioned amazon to me. He is very good at selling on amazon and might be able to expand upon our affiliate program I mentioned.
Neither of us have this all figured out yet, the api's and logistics for this affiliate program are pretty intense, but here's what we're thinking..
The affiliate shopping cart that will be going on to the new BitShares Munich website will gather your public_key via the a= parameter (example only: bitshares-munich.de/#shop?a=your_public_key) that you pass in. Now we know who the affiliate is that sent us the sale (you). You post that link in your blog, website, social posts, etc. Someone clicks it and becomes a customer with us. That customer orders a product from us and pays us in Smartcoin. At that moment, the order is then automatically sent to the manufacturer. They drop-ship it right to the customer via our UPS worldship account. The customer signs for the package. UPS sends the tracking number so we have proof the customer got their products. After the 30 day returns period has lapsed, the 99% net profit then goes directly to the affiliate (you) automatically. Payouts can be daily this way. We will not hold any inventory and the entire process is automated with our logo on the box (not the manufacturers). If the customer wants a refund or exchange (within the 30 day returns period), the entire process takes place again, but in reverse. Our website api will handle this as well so no human can screw it up.
So, posting links with your affiliate (public key) is easy, right? Right.
Now, here's where it gets really cool. You could do the same process, and have your amazon store (or ebay, google, yahoo stores, etc) selling and promoting our products for you as well. iHashFury says there is 2 different ways that amazon lets you do this too. Granted, amazon will take their cut from you (15% I guess), but this would get BitShares POS systems out there even faster.
