Okay the bot is up and running in #memorycoin and ##mmc-spam on freenode.

Thanks for all the information.

Can I access voting information via memorycoind?

No - but that's a good suggestion for an improvement.

That's because ~7.3% of the final amount of coins (10 mio) has been given out to Memorycoin 1 and PTS holders.

Also the full block reward hasn't been paid from the beginning, it started low to allow everyone having a fair start. Full block reward started at 240, I'm not sure about the formula used before that.

Ah Okay. I need exact numbers, can I get them somewhere?
  • How many coins have been given out to PTS shareholders down to the statoshi?
  • How many coins have not been paid out between block 1 and 240?

I think the easiest thing to do is to take the total number of coins as issued at block 1680, then apply formula.

isaac, you said you wanted to set up a site with voting stats. Maybe you can add an api giving back the names belonging to the voting addresses?
Or they can be set with the bot. Should be fine too.
Hmm possible, would only be a simple database lookup.

It depends how much free time I have. I'll definitely get the site up, that feature may be for another week.

isaacgoldbourne, would 100 MMC bounty help you to set it up? I just need a page that would auto update, so I can link it from memorycoin.info People need real-time elections stats. Thanks man.

4. http://www.chainbrowser.com/memorycoin/
3. reward is -5% every 1680 blocks
3---> Whats the initial reward?
280

Is the chainbrowser wrong? "Total Coins: 1,619,503.27" ???

My calculation says:
blocktime 239.3
hashrate 38164.72402095445
reward 266.0
minted 903714.0

Which one looks better?

1. see TiGei99 4.
2. it uses kimotos gravity well from megacoin. block time is around 6 minutes, diff calculation is dynamic. i would propose just showing the average block time from the last 5 or 10 blocks
3. reward is -5% every 1680 blocks

3---> Whats the initial reward?

280

8.
It would be good for the bot to know
a) current office holders
This information is available from the block rewards on every 20th block, or in the votedebug info of the client.
+1

Shouldn't be too hard, positions don't change too often.
