I would like to translate bitshares and graphene-ui to Polish, but so far, there is no "Polish" to choose on transifex in bitshares/graphene projects.

My nickname on transifex is noisypl.

PS. please upvote on https://www.reddit.com/r/BitShares/comments/3ow3jg/bitshares_needs_you_coordinating_continuous/ ! :)

Added Polish and invited you to bitshares.org, docs.bitshares.eu and graphene.ui translation projects.

Welcome and thanks for posting on reddit!

Take a look on: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,19625.msg251894.html - I have a crazy idea - lets convince cryptonomex developers to use livecoding.tv

I could help for turkish translation. Can someone send me the link here please. I was just thinking about the effectiveness of short videos like the ones Salman Khan does on Khan Academy. Many people will have hard time comprehending totally what such things like a witness or a delegate are and what they do . Short videos  each couple of minutes would really help people  understand basic terminology and the functions .

@bitsacer, are you dairemerkezi on Transifex? If so you are doing it great job translating graphene-ui into Turkish, we should grant  Reviewer permissions.

Same to inarizushi Transifex user wtth French translation. If you read this please let me know so we can keep in touch.

Remember that changes on translation source file are pulled once a day from github.com/graphene-ui.
You can click on Watch Project from the source file page of the project to get notified each time new strings comes from github (https://www.transifex.com/bitshares/graphene-ui/content/)

When translations get completed and reviewed I'll be pushing them to github. Reviewers and Language Coordinators can do that themselves if they want.

I'm glad to see more people joining

Hi , could you briefly describe to me how to push translation from transifex to github . Thanks

Hi bitsacer, you are doing a great job with Turkish translations.

As soon as I can, and if devs agree, I'll have to set up a server that bridges Transifex and Github because there's a lot of content that the wallet is fetching from github markdown pages. Meanwhile you can download your locale from Transifex and create a pull request for the respective file, in your case https://github.com/cryptonomex/graphene-ui/blob/master/web/app/assets/locales/locale-tr.js

I check at least once a day if translations are up to date with the last commit and create the pull requests myself. I've been quite busy this week, sorry if there has been any delay.

I'm trying to find out how much it will cost to get an Indonesian translation as my brother lives out there....  I'll get back when I know more.

Great Ben, please let me know if you or your brother need any help.

I'd like to know your quotations about translation pricing.
Absolutely. Out of interest, can you tell me how long other complete translations took for BitShares.org & Graphene-ui?

BitShares internationalization project on Transifex is quite recent. The only completed translation is graphene-ui into spanish, so far. It took me a few hours, it's just 1500 source words/strings and many are repeated.

I took more time to make a judicious glossary to standardize the semantics of graphene that to make the translation itself.
That's why I'm looking for a way to reward trusted community members as Language Coordinators to create a continuous internationalization team.

Awesome! I will work on the French translations, and probably the guys from BitShares French connexion can manage the French team

The french translation is already done and availbale on our brand new web site http://www.bitsharesfcx.com/

We will coordinate with Inarizushi to translate what is left

The idea of bitshares.org beeing translated in several languages is good but concerning the french one we think there might be a better way to do it.

All the information of bitshares.org (description and blog) have already been translated and incorporated in our web site. We offer much more than that : Max Wright book and videos translated, introduction articles for newbies, news, infographic, flyers,… and a forum with several categories, a proper place for the french community to grow, ask questions, debate … in 1 word : communicate

The french community in the crypto world is tiny and unaware. We want to gather everybody in a nice place where they can learn about crypto, blockchains and mainely BitShares. We think it’s better to have (at least at the beginning) one central place for french people to avoid confusing them.

Instead of having bitshares.org in french, is that possible to have the “french” tab or buton to redirect the visitor in our website so they can find exactely the same info but much more and a way to communicate with each other ?

Hi EstephanTT, good to know bitshares.org content is already translated into French.

I think both approaches could coexist and benefit each other: It would be nice to have something like a Local Communities section on bitshares.org to link bitsharesfcx.com and others. In that case, having bitshares.org also translated into French would let French Connection benefit from bitshares.org being the most ranked bitshares related site.

Once we have at least one full translation, I plan to purpose serving https://prerender.io/ (https://github.com/prerender/prerender) to let search engines and social networks crawl translated content as if each translation were the main language.
