is the atomic cross-chain trading based on sergio's implementation here:

I think it is more like gmax's protocol with timeouts:

Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.

How about we let him develop it rather than asking more questions?

Djeezus, sorry for asking but this could be extremely important, somewhat important or not important at all…. but give me a break, I am not asking him to implement:

- a blockchain that captures/integrates the world's energy (*1),
- an assisted suicide block chain (*2),
- or do something about Maidsafe, which  apparently is coming up with the app of all apps (that does nothing… sorry for misspeaking… is so great we will be all forced to buy it, no matter if it is in our best interest to do so or not) (*3)

Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

BM said: “Today I implemented support for multi-sig, cross-chain-trading”
Can you tell us more about that? (comprehendible for the age group of 4 to 7 year old would be best!)

I added the transaction validation to support the following algorithm:

I think the metric we are going for is stability of API and blockchain vs being bug free.   The magnitude of changes that we are introducing is decreased significantly so we are getting closer.

I don't understand why can't the people proclaiming to be long term holders get through their thick heads. No one, not even the "short term speculators", benefits from a sub-par product. If it is crap, the PTS held wont be even worth $4 or the BTS wont crawl even $1 mark. So the short or long term, both want the same thing - a working product.

Anyone in the IT side of things will tell you -- most code doesn't work perfectly on the first go. So all this nonsense about perfect code should stop. Just get us a working product, test it, improve and iterate it. If things were so perfect, bitcoins wouldn't require so many iterations.

I can say that progress is picking up speed and our development is improving.  Our designs are stabilizing and our initial product will be more than the MVP we would have launched earlier.

Do not let people complains affect the perfection of the product. I want Bitshares X to be released only when it works perfectly!

People are complaining because they are short term speculators who have locked their investment for more than anticipated originally. Let them complain... I am investing in the long run and I do not wish the first I3 product not to work as it supposed to work. A couple of months more is nothing compared to the eternity  ;)...

Short term speculation really pisses me off. This is the disaster of modern capitalism. You have to learn to invest for the long run and not for short term profits. Do not rush your investments.

You gotta be realistic here too. People have bills to pay, it's almost summer, and Invictus promised to release months ago.

What do you expect? Of course everyone is impatient after waiting for months. Also we are witnessing the rise of pure PoS when Bitshares probably is what initiated that in the first place. So other coins will get media attention and market cap while the Bitshares community gets to jealously watch.

It's an "are we there yet?". It's not an "I need my money, gimme!".

Shouldn't we will have the xts this week as BM said?Miss the deadline again?good job I3.good job BM.Any excuses?lol

PLEASE DO NOT PUSH THEM SO HARD.
