Actually that had less to do with your issue than I thought.  :-\

I'm catching up on this too, you caught me off guard and I'd forgotten about that myself.

It's how it was announced from the start that it would be, so no its not a bug.

There's support for blinded transactions on the blockchain level but no GUI support yet.

Wow.

I completely missed this information - or at least the realization that just knowing somebody's account ID would actually give you access to view their entire asset holdings under that account.

This is easily the most bothersome thing I have ever seen here - I hope we can get GUI access to blinded transactions and other privacy features ASAP!

Will there be or is there currently any way to import/claim balances without tying them to ids/accounts via private keys?

Excuse my possible ignorance here.

I'm logged into Openledger and looking around the GUI and noticed that when I click on any user, it appears that I can see their account balance for every asset they hold.

Is this normal? Is it how BTS 2.0 is supposed to be working - or is it Openledger - or a bug???

Just being able to see the held and claimed balances of other accounts here gave me the heebie jeebies - I hope this is some kind of bug.
