Probably some kind of service that accepts quick purchases with credit card, have it send btc to your mobile wallet and you're done, you can now spend it wherever you want from your cellphone. Don't know the speed of the process as I've never done it like that but that's most likely the fastest/most practical way for a newbie who just wants to have it ready for use.

Another way that I don't know if it exist would be using something like PaySafe cards. Imagine this, you buy it into the store, go online, insert the code, it's automatically accept it and immediately BTC get credited on your address at current rate. I think Bitcoin and crypto in general need something like that. I believe that's the fastest and most efficient way to get.

You don't need a bank account or credit card, no need to share any kind of info and it doesn't have 2 and 3 day delays like SEPA transfers. You insert the code, you get credited. Simple as that.

1. Buy paysafe card or equivalent
2. go online and insert the code
3. get btc credited to your address.

Stupid simple. Crypto needs services like that. Dunno about any legal issues it might have though, but whoever provides this service will be rich. It's stupid simple. Anyone can get it. No trouble. 3 steps and you're done. You can do it from any store in the world that accepts this kind of cards. Everyone has a cellphone with internet connection meaning it's accessible to anyone.

I've been discussing this with a friend of mine since I ever heard of Bitcoin. There is a urgent need for this. Whoever does this first will be rich simple because of the fact anyone who knows how to work with a computer or cellphone can do this in 3 simple and fast steps. No entry barrier whatsoever.

If BitCash and POS could do this with bitUSD, we would have the world at our feet. Of course not taking into account any legal issues it might have. @kenCode give it a thought.

I'm at a store and see a computer I want to buy but I know I can get it online for free I could literally to into the store, buy the card, sit on a sofa, insert the code, have the btc credited on my address and then shop online.

I want to book an hotel but I dont have a credit card, I go into a store, get the card, go online, get my btc and book the hotel from across town so I can surprise my wife the day after. Done. Stupid simple.

No more having to register which is boring and share my personal data on local bitcoins. I can do this whenever I want without the hassle of having to find someone willing to trade (assuming I just want to buy and not sell). I might be hyping but I strongly believe this would be the best way ever to get someone into crypto. Local Bitcoins 2.0. No entry barrier, 3 steps, your grandmother could literally do it. You even have a slogan right there. "So easy even your grandma can do it."

Anything I could do in 5 minutes or less with 100% certainty and could apply for millions of users?

Localbitcoins cash deposit at Bank of America / Wells Fargo  or other nationwide bank.

During business hours or at a Bank of America 24hr ATM

Reputable sellers lower limits are normally around $10 to $20 but you can find $1 also.

5 minutes might be pushing it.  You'd have to live real close or drive really fast.  Once deposited 5-10 minutes release time is common.

Markup is usually 5 - 6 %

If you just had a crazy dream and had to go buy bitcoin immediately, then I would think an atm would be the quickest and easiest way without needing to go and link your bank account with circle or any other outfit.  Unless Wal-Mart is selling bitcoin prepaid cards lol.
Other than that, I don't know of any other quick, easy routes

I like uphold. It's very clear, concise and easy to understand and use to someone who is new to crypto.

In the UK there is stuff like https://bittylicious.com/

The minimum amount is £1. There are various payment options including 'Faster Payments', which is an online banking transfer which is free and essentially instant.

edit: wasn't expecting Empirical to have mentioned Bittylicious when I got the forum warning that someone else had posted!

Yeah I would guess uphold, given it's free.

Bittylicious in the UK will let you buy £1 worth for a £0.04 fee/premium via bank transfer very simply https://bittylicious.com/
(bank transfers are pretty instantaneous in the UK.)
