I can just urge everybody to move your big rigs over here (even if it is just for a one week trial). I bet with a higher total hashrate compared to the *cough* other pool profitability of [email protected] will increase even more.

would need windows binaries for cpu mining...
We are working on adding yam support now.

Great, I could then also point my cpus (8core opteron, 8core bulldozer, 8core i7, 4 core i7) to the same pool as my gpu rig.
Would I be able to use the same payout address for several workers (gpu&cpu mixed) or would I have to use different?

Whichever is more convenient to you (whether you want separate statistics per worker or aggregated over all workers).

So its been a bit more than a day, with a disconnection in between, but I feel, I am earning less. I may be totally wrong though as I have not put things on a timer.

I have a question though. I understand the 20 people one car and 10 people one car example given earlier in this thread or somewhere else about smaller pools working in the same way as larger pools in terms of payout as there are fewer workers for the same reward.

But does the number of blocks found make a difference as well? For eg on the larger pool I see a block found every few minutes from various pool members, but on 1GH, I see a block once every few hours or so, maybe sometimes 2 in the same hour, but these are few and far between.

Does this make a difference to payout?
The pool luck is lower than what is statistically justified: at current difficulty and total hashrate it should be finding around 10 blocks per day. But the same goes to beeeeer.org, so it looks like the *cough* bigger pool is employing some dirty techniques after all.

Also wanted to check. My average payout seems to be .05 per block. This does not seem to change much irrespective of the number of shares. Is that normal?

On my side I also see no correlation between shares and value in the worker stats.
Could be an issue with the stats, though...

I just learned:
as the block length varies, the number of submitted shares will too vary, and thus is not directly correlated to the payout value.
At constant c/m payout will be more or less the same while submitted shares for a block are fluctuating (for all of us BTW).

So this explains why submitted share number seems not to be related to payout.

BTW: since yesterday pool hashrate (only considering top 100 miners) went up from 150K c/m to 350K c/m
This is gaining momentum !!! ;-)

@reorder

I just switched back to mining PTS with your miner. It is working now for my Nvidia card, but you probably know this already.

Results are good for me. I am using a GTX 670 and avg about 910-940 cpm, 271 hpm

And I notice no lag doing other things like I did with another one for PTS.

Funny, after my last message here, my share per block has gone down to .030 +/- a bit. Have a lot of new miners jumped onto 1GH lately?

Also is 1070 cpm ok on a 770 GTX? Will it get better if I OC the card?

The pool hashrate has increased 15-20% in the last 24h, so indeed your share got lower, but this also means blocks are being found more often on average now. (And the pool luck has improved a lot in the last hours, but it is just a lottery of course).

I think noone has reported CPM for 770 yet, so I cannot tell if 1070 cpm is right for it. Overclocking will improve it of course.
