I just did some calculations on MMC and PTS mining with a R9 280x:

MMC: http://agran.net/memorycoin2_calc.html => 20 hpm = 0.0065 BTC/day

PTS: http://mrx.im/pts.php => 1000 cpm = 0.0062 BTC/day

Pretty bad  :-\

You are not wrong there... despite the high CPM, it is misleading. I had 5300 cpm for 12 hours only to get 0.5 PTS. Look at what other people are getting and you will get an idea. I have stopped GPU mining PTS.

this PTS-GPU-mining is just fantastic for my "old" cards :)
two air-cooled HD6990 (2011)
one makes 2257 cpm - the other makes 2378 cpm
both at full speed - with scrypt-mining they are getting too hot, so i can only run them at ~75 % speed
oh... and the power-consumption is only 60 % compared to scrypt-mining
WAT?  :o
PTS: 650 watt / 4750 cpm
Scrypt: 905 watt / 1840 kh/s

The scrypt miner (like cgminer) has overclocking in the config (coreclock, memclock, etc.).  The PTS miner runs at stock clocks though you can manually overclock.

i am mining until the summer 2011 with a little rig-farm and my numbers are from the same settings in afterburner for Scrypt- and PTC-mining - so they are really comparably ;)

Guys, anybody with Nvidia here? Care to post your results? Seems impossible to get a honest benchmark from another camp..

Ubuntu x64
GTX 570 around 960+ c/m
GTX 560Ti around 660+ c/m

Well it´s been a great couple of days, but it seem´s we just run out of luck and hashrate :( time to go back to doggy, but i´ll be back once we start finding more blocks again, right now i´m just wasting eletricity, still i made some small profit in this last 2 day, if the pool keeps atracting more hash power theres no reason not to be profitable.

I sincerely hope you guys can keep this going

Best regards

Not sure about how much hash power ypool has but, either we start finding more blocks or i´m about to jump ship :) last 12H were a disgrace

Looks like ypool is still finding most blocks. They found 145 in last 24h, we found 6-7? Their hashpower is ~7M cpm, how much is ours?

thx, I noticed that :) thx
Sorry my mistake cgminer uses that not pts-miner you should have a Pts-miner.bat (not .exe) and you have to put like this pts-miner.exe (wallet address) 0-0
And then you create other files with the same line but 0-1 and 0-2 and you run those files not Pts-miner.exe

On a Radeon HD6950 - very, very slow..
That is incredibly slow indeed, especially since there are reports of 6990 yielding over 2000. Have you also tried Nvidia by any chance?
I haven't got an nVidia card in that box to test it with..
